I heard that melee charcaters, i am not sure which one, can train in different techniques found somewhere in West Commons at lvl 20.
Does anyone know what this is called and where I can find the information on it? What classes can do this ,etc.

Do you mean when you get a new skill like dual wield? If so, you have to go to your guildmaster and right click on them.

Just like you trained for your druid skills for the first time (like tracking), you do th esame a sa melee.

No.....I recall fromlike 2 years ago they added Special Skills to melee characters that you buy books to learn them from a NPC in West Commons, they did this to make melee more desirable a while back. Does anyone know what they are, and how to do it? What melee characters get them?

You mean Tomes (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=2673)? I believe most of the vendors are in PoK.

Yes.....I realized it is Tomes I recalled.
Where can I find out what Tomes are used for the low level disciplines for melee characters and which melee characters can use the low level ones.
I hear level 20 Warriors can get them.....does anyone know which ones can be used and by whom and where to find the information? Can low level ShadowKnights get them?

You would probably have to go to a class specific site. For warrriors, go to Steel warriors (I think).
FOr example, monks get a "lull" tome. They can actually, "harmony" a mob to get a single pull. They get better and higher as the monks levels.

I cannot remember if the tomes say what they do or are just named. They are a reddish color and look kind of like a book.
