If you've got a Trader Joe's around you might want to buy this marinated beef, forget exactly what it is called... it has some exotic name. It's marinated in some sort of korean manner. Anyway, I just broil it in the oven for about 7-8 minutes each side and it is utterly fabulous! I'm generally not a big beef eater, but this stuff is great.

It's... da bomb! In a manner of speaking.

It's probably what's called "Korean BBQ" - Bul Go Gi or Kal ru gi (no idea how to spell either). Really good when done in a Korean BBQ shop with all the little side dishes like the afore mentioned Kimchi :)

One of the two words starts with a B, I think it's Bool. And the other one starts with a K. I should remember to check the package in the fridge. Man, I'm hooked on this.

Trader Joe's is the greatest btw - we drive 2 hours one way on a monthly basis to shop there.

Ah, Sunglo! I pity you. I often say that Trader Joe's caters my life. I'm there at least once a week and buy 95% of my groceries from them. I'd be devastated if there wasn't a TJ nearby.

The only problem is, they're so damn popular that it is getting too crowded. The parking is starting to get ugly.

They had a lengthy supermarket strike in my town and TJ's got the benefit of it. I have a feeling a lot of those folks that discovered's TJ's during the strike didn't go back to shopping in the big supermarkets.

Learned about TJ's in Tucson, AZ several years ago.

One of my sister's live literally within walking distance from a really nice one on Tucson's north side.

I on the other hand have to travel to Chicago in order to shop there.

It's Bulgogi, Deji Bulgogi (spicy pork) and there is Kalbi too! Mmm Mmm

Kimchi is also marinated in some Korean manner :) For some reason I always think of that one MASH episode; where Major Burns thinks that the Koreans planted a bomb in the middle of the compound. :rolling:

Anyway, don't quote me on the spelling. There are many Korean dialects, but those are the ones I grew up on.
