The title speaks for itself. I think the ability to summon NO RENT food and drinks that has stats fits pretty nicely with the druid class. Of course, mages might complain...
Thing is if they gave this to druids, we would only get a single serving, single target cast. They would give mages, at least, a multi serving (e.g. 5 servings) cast.
Unless we can MGB it, no thank you! I'm busy enough on raids casting single target Oak (I play eq 5-6 nights a week and still don't have Group SteelOak skin *sigh*), seasons, lions, healing, nuking, curing, etc. The last thing I want is everyone on a raid asking for multi servings of food and water on top of that. Or even if I logged on early and made multi portions, trying to trade it to everyone while doing everything else would be a nightmare. Creative idea, but...

You'd probably have the trade skill community in open revolt to.

You could always make plenty and just drop them on the ground near the raid and tell everyone to pick them up, lol.

Back when I played and baking was my trade skill, before the pies went in, getting that skill up killing brownies for chocolate etc was time consuming for sure! I think it would really upset the bakers of Norrath if they decided to do that.
