Yesterday, April 10, '05 I was really experiencing spell failure after spell failure due to "spell Interrupted"... Am now ,finally a 41 lvl. Druid & have had VERY reliable spell casting up to now --had to run to Zone too many times due to this problem. I did not change equip. or spells. Is this me or Sony or what? I reralize that my limited "game" play is causing a great deal of my problems-am so green I make persimmons pucker... Thank you all for past help & I hope you can keep me from getting killed SO MUCH with help on this poor spell performance. May your Sword & Mind remain EverSharp! SoJo:mage01:

When you get new spells in the early levels, the chance for fizzles and interrupts is high. The only cure I know of is leveling.

Thank you Galain but my concern was that this frequent interruption occurrence
is NEW to my Char. He was not having these interruptions at his lower levels... Why now?? SoJO

Were you in a laggy zone?

Sometimes, when I get lag, or if I'm floaty I'll get weird interruptions.

Have you changed hunting location? There are certain geometries (e.g., when located of the side of a few hills) that I have found to consistently cause interrupts.

Those are some thoughful observations but "alas" same Zone same Mobs for the past two weeks...lol

perhaps your connection is laggier for some reason, try moving, stopping, then standing still for less than a second and cast. if you move, stop and cast instantly it may interrupt your spell since the server is registering you're moving if your connection is laggy.

Do you kite? Do you tank mobs? I'm assuming that at lvl 41 you're kiting. So that may be the case.

If you are kiting try stopping and turning 90 degrees in one direction before casting. That always solved my interrupt problems.

You all are fantastic!! I am too impatient to cast & I cast "immediately" when I stop ==lag .. TY SoJo

I find when moving and I stop... a complete 90 turn is not necessary, a short quick turn will do. Since I use the arrow keys I just tap either left or right once...then do my cast. I didn't invent this I read it somewhere but i forget where.
