Who else has Satellite TV?
So should any State of the U.S. be able to tax subscibers to Satellite TV?
If your from one of the offending states or possibly a state that may consider this tax please keep yourself updated: www.stopsatellitetax.com (http://www.stopsatellitetax.com)
I have D-TV and found it was cheaper with more programming and a cleaner picture and sound (HD for sure). My thought was "Why not change over from Cable and save a couple 100 bucks a year?"
So certain states want to tax this.
Where do these people get off - I could see if there were wires hanging on poles, I could see if there were huge beaming stations pointed into space or wireless Cell phone Towers ruining the scenery but there isn't. They have no claim because there is no land of these states being used to "carry" the programming down to the people who purchase Satellite programming. Sure you need a dish to receive programming but is it not on your own land? Or your renters land? Do they already pay taxes for this? Sure they do and probably to much already.
When I read this I was shocked; Many states are voting it down right now but these retard State Reps should be removed from office for even suggesting such a thing. They have NO CLAIM IMO!
Show your Support and stop this insane Tax, don't we pay enough already.. whats next Remote Control Tax?! And Remember.. XM Radio Subscribers etc.. whats stops them from taxing that if they get a Sat-TV Tax through?
