I really like the new veteran rewards and how they have affected my play style. I'm starting to get bored with the xp grind on my druid (after 500 aa's - there's not a lot left that are must have's imo). Outside of raiding, the game was starting to slow down for me.

Then, they give us double xp for 30 mins. Lately, I have felt a draw to actually play my one alt at least 30 mins a day (I have a bard on another account). Usually, this turns into more that 30 mins. My druid will always be my main, but I had forgotten how much fun a bard can be. I had quit playing him over a year ago when he was 57. Now, something about me not wanting to "waste" his once a day xp bonus draws me to log him in daily for at least a quick bit of xp.

Quite a few of my guildies have mentioned they are bored with the lack of any good aa's left to get. Some have either slowed their game play or gone to other games. For me, playing an alt again has been my ticket to fun lately. I doubt I would have done it had the veteran rewards not come out. It was the perfect jump start for me to dust him off.

I agree. For me, it opens up a whole new set of features for the solo, casual gamer. Self rez? Double XP? Spawn a healer or mana recharger? Awesome!
