I read somewhere that it's enough to have 1% (theoretical) extension to make tick based spells last one tick longer.
So now i am looking at getting SCR at the first level, just to have one tick more on SotW. Is this an option?

Since i dont buff much usually, and raid very seldom, i dont plan on getting the rest of the SCR line before finishing of more "everyday" AA.

SCR1 will only extend the duration of beneficial spells by 5%, so it will have no effect on the duration of SotW.

I believe you need SCR3 to extend SoTW by 1 tick and SCRM to extend it by another tick.

scr1 = nothing
scr2 = 1 extra tick
scr3 = 1 extra tick
scrm = 2 extra ticks
These are not cumulative.
