Hello all,

After spending many months at 65 getting aa's, I've finally begun to level again. I recently hit 67 and am looking for advice on places to solo for xp. I understand that Vxed is one of the more efficient places to go, but I've been there for a year and am burned out on Hynids and Pookas. I've also spent alot of time in Nobles Causeway killing the mobs in the ravines. Beyond that I am looking for more. The xp in places like Storms has dried up, and I'm not a big fan of FoFire and have also spent alot of time there.

Are there places in WoS or other OoW or GoD zones for a 67 druid to solo. Check my magelo and see I am rather well equipped with a good mana pool and stable of focus effects.

My play time is limited so I have to solo most of the time. I know there are many posts on this kind of topic but I've been unable to find something specific to my dilemma. Surely there is solo life in the upper 60s beyond Vxed/Tipt and NC?

Thanks in advance for your insights. :)

Get fire access if you can. Maybe with a public raid force if it's available in your server. Fire exp still beats anything out there.

Thanks Nim. I have Fire access and have spent alot of time there. Does most everything in WoS summon?

Except murkgliders and that one dragorn assassin dude in the northwest caves, yes.

Yxtta in primal caves is decent exp also (especially at 67 when you'll still get the full bonus range exp from the level 64 mobs that are almost worthless at 70). A couple of decent zonewide random gear drops you could use also.

Qvic is nice solo exp if you have access, but I doubt you do.

Thanks for the replies. Regarding Yxtta... I know it is a keyed zone but can find minimal information in alla on the keying process. Would someone please post a discussion link or provide some information on keying for this zone?

Any other high level zones that can be solo'd (i.e. no summoners) for decent xp?

Thanks :)

Ooooo that sounds fun.
Are there any roaming/pathing mobs in there?
Are they all singles? I've never noticed when our raids move through.

Beat Tipt. (1 group event) = KT and Yxtta access. Don't try killing anything in yxtta besides cragbeasts, spiders and hynids though (all of the cragbeasts and spiders are in the primal caves which you have to do the riddles to get in, and i lost my link to a site explaining them so I forgot. You could also kill Beetles in Yxtta, but they like to warp on top of you and eat you).

Lots of singles, there are a few wanderers, but you can harmony, and usually none come near the entrance to the cave, mobs are level 65-69 (never 64, so you'll get consistent exp at 70, unlike vxed or yxtta where the level 64 mobs will give you basically half exp), mostly casters (low hp, but buff your resists) You'll encounter druids, shamans, enchanters and petless magicians, as well as monks (pulling with annul to strip haste or sow isn't a bad idea tho). Nothing that hard. With 350-400 in all resists self buffed, the only things that landed with any frequency were druid swarm dots and unresistable enc/mage/shaman debuffs (f malo overwriting seasons btw) Theoretically you can also kill the muramites outside in Qvic (they don't summon except the named), but they're a pain in the ass to pull and break root quite often; Not worth the trouble. I've never seen the random zone augs from qvic drop from the ghosts (but then i've never seen them drop from muramite mobs on umpteen billion msha raids either, so yeah)

Thanx for the infos Aluaeia,

I am bored to tears with kiting in fire and the XP there and in Vxed just isn't worth it anymore. I need someplace new. Will chekc it out when I get home from work in the AM.

Wait, all of the trash in Qvic doesn't summon? But it does summon in KT / Yxtta? I killed some random hynids and cragbeasts in KT (and primal caves in Yxtta) just so I knew I could do it, but heard everything else summoned and didn't even try.

Anyway, you can check out Thundercrest and Nest in DoN.. also Ascent where you can pull to zone-in and root/rot some cats. All three zones should be fairly empty.

Not worth it??? Granted, I just recently got my gimped Fire access but I am loving the solo XP there. 11% AA per single kill with 100% going to AAXP is the best I have seen yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but damn it's great. I especially like it because now I go in to Fire and I'm the only one in the zone.

Don't get me wrong, I still HATE soloing and would really prefer groups. But this ain't bad.

For the guild/raid-challenged, without ANY PoP flags, and coming back from a long absence, and having a totally gimp kit (3K hp, 4.5K mana) (yeah, yeah, I'm lame, I know).....

How does one go about getting Fire access? Since my last guild basically broke up right when PoP was getting going, I never bothered finding out how all the flagging worked.

Thanks,

Tat

Follow a guild killing Fennin Ro and loot a Flame Shpere thing. That is your insta-key to the plane of fire.

Heh, thanks El :)

Kinda reminds me of the old Steve Martin bit about how to be a millionaire, and never pay taxes...

First, get a million dollars!

I'll start snooping around and see if I can someone raiding PoP.
