was hoping some of the high end druids...aside from myself/cough...could give input on the MPG single group trials...what as minimum do you need to have
chance for success...as a druid first of all..and what to group with. Not sure there is a definitive answer for this..but just want some input..thanks.

Depends which trial.

Fear take an enc, ingenuity take a cleric, efficiency take a cleric, destruction take another druid (just kidding, take a cleric), weaponry take a rogue or two, subversion take a necro and rogue/bard.

Ideal groups for a time level geared group with a druid in it:

Weaponry: Cleric, Warrior, Bard, Druid, Ranger, Ranger

Ingenuity: Cleric, Warrior, Druid, Monk, SK, Bard

Destruction: Warrior, pally(preferably with hopebringer), Druid, bard, rng/ber/rog/monk/bst, rng/ber/monk/rog

Efficency: Warrior (with cyclone blade disc), Enc, druid, bard, rng/ber/rog/monk, rng/ber/rog/monk

Fear: Warrior, cleric, druid, bard, enc/necro, necro

Subversion: druid, druid/cleric, warrior, bard/rogue, enc, dps

With all that being said, don't go gung ho following the 'perfect' group lineup to a tea. Get good players. Get well geared players. Even outside my recommended group substitions there's a lot of combinations that will still work.

For a time level group, here's the difficultly of trials (from hardest to easiest) = Weaponry, Ingenuity, Subversion (if tank dies you = fuxxzorzed), Effic., Destruction, Fear

PS- Rogues are hella overrated in weaponry. Rangers can almost match their dps on pierce mob, but absolutly slaughter their dps on all the other mobs. Also keep in mind if you have a druid for spell dps on steelshock, you'll want 2 rangers to back you up to get it killed in under 3:30. note1- TS damage now gets the piercing damage bonus note2- BS's work on every mob, but they don't get the 4x damage bonus outside of pierce mob, and they might even get a damage penalty.

very true, but for a time level group i'ld say they would, or they would need 2x alternativies priest + pally tank.

The 3k mana debuff hurts time level geared casters a far higher % than high end casters. HoT's are also amazing on debuff`d tanks here.

I'd change your weaponry setup tho.
Druid-Shaman-Platetank-bard-berserker-ranger (a well geared berserker, with good weapons, is insane DPS in this trial) If a druid is going in, a cleric isnt really needed, if there is a shammy especially with their HoT's.

A guildy of mine wrote really great detailed guides to all of the trials when we were farming em as a group for runes/gear...I'll ask him if he minds if I post it here.

For the technically challenged you copy / paste these into your [charname]_seventh.ini file. Change the page number and button number to use some of the unused slots in your social keys. Then next time you log in you'll see these trial strats as buttons.

Page3Button4Line2=/g Every 5 min starting with trial theres an AE that drains 3000 mana and endurance. Dont cure it, just accept it.
Page3Button4Line3=/g Priests keep your butts to wall and never sit before a wave. They can smell heals and go right for priests. Mez the soldiers, tank the commanders and elites. Slow everything.


Page3Button11Name=Fear
Page3Button11Color=0
Page3Button11Line1=/g Fear (Mind): Must survive 15 minutes of onslaught and keep killing those mobs popping. there is NO boss fight to this trial. Rumor is we kill 4 of each model of mob (dragorn, wolf, skelly, elemental) we win.
Page3Button11Line2=/g Mobs can be fearable and unfearable. the unfearable ones are called "a fearless xxxx" (dragorn, skeleton, wolf, elemental) and con DARK blue. If its just "a xxxx" and con LIGHT blue they are fearable.
Page3Button11Line3=/g the fearable mobs lose about 5% life per tick from being feared. So just keep them feared and they will die. HOWEVER, when fear breaks they charge the camp going after the person that feared them.
Page3Button11Line4=/g Fearable mobs hit for 1400, fearless for 900. Both proc 2000dds on n150 PR check.
Page3Button11Line5=/g Its critical for casters to stay towards the wall and let melee take the charges. DI stays on anyone thats a nontank. Keep tash and malo on the fearable mobs.

Page3Button5Line1=/g SUBVERSION (tactics) trial you have to open LDON-style chests and loot coins until you reach 300 points, then fight the boss. Copper = 10pts silver = 20 pts gold = 30 pts.
Page3Button5Line2=/g 3 people will be chest openers. Hexxt = priest, ironbound = rogue, spellbound = int caster. Make sure to disarm them or nasty traps get set off.. Get behind the chest, but still in melee range to cast. If a roamer comes in move to the next chest.
Page3Button5Line3=/g Traps: Jagged Rust - 1500 / tick disease counters. Hazy Cloudcurse: Drunkenness, curse counters, Disorienting vortex: 400 / tick DOT + snare, radiant cure or dispell.
Page3Button5Line4=/g Pacification people will sit in the middle of the room and keep the patrol pacified. Chest openers stay invis when you can, backs to outer wall and avoid the patrol. If someone catches aggro everyone converges in middle area to kill it.
Page3Button5Line5=/g at 270 points everyone run to the east wall, loot last points making named targetable. must use placate on the 2 guards (~5 sec AFTER last coin is looted) and pull named. Named hits for 2800 quad and has a HUGE aggro range. Butt to wall for pulling.

Page3Button12Line1=/g INGENUITY trial (realms). Object is to collect enough bane weapons to kill boss within 15 min. Normally this means about 10 trash mob kills then named. Named quads for 2k, unslowable.
Page3Button12Line2=/g named aggros when you trigger the trial. Must have someone escape / fd / fm / eat a death to lose named aggro. Rest of team stays with asses to teh outside wall. Named aggro range extends to about 15 feet from wall, so its CRITICAL we keep all mobs
Page3Button12Line3=/g Near the wall. Pushing a mob or character anywhere past the circular part of the pads brings named down on us like a hammer.
Page3Button12Line5=/g save all DPS for named. Casters can click weapons 35 seconds after named does his reflection buff.

Page3Button9Line1=/g Weaponry (Body) trial is simple enough: 4 named in 15 min. Each named has a bane weapon type (slash, pierce, blunt) that it takes 4x damage from.
Page3Button9Line2=/g Granite Stoneguardian (Golem) is weak to blunts. Hulking Bazu is weak to slash. Hemkai The Ascendent (Dragorn) is weak to pierce. Steelshock (Armor) is weak to nothing.
Page3Button9Line3=/g Idea is to use your best disc's on the mob weak to your best weapons. Nuke like fiends on steelshock because he'll go down the slowest.

Page3Button2Line1=/g DESTRUCTION (power) is the simplest of trials. The objective is to kill 20 mobs in 15 min, then immediately pull and kill the boss.
Page3Button2Line2=/g We set up on the flat spot near left pad, and start killing. Usually have 2 tanks with one always pulling if hes not tanking. We MUST keep aggroing every mob that pops or else they poof and we fall behind in kill count.
Page3Button2Line3=/g boss is nothing special, so blow all DPS on trash mobs.

If the warrior is in a raid group that just beat quarm he's gonna need a cleric.

EDIT: Rangers, on paper look good. Rangers, in practice, look even better. Every ranger has spells. Every ranger has bow. Any ranger worthy of this trial has an ikkinz blade. Most rangers have Despair, or a better raid weapon blunt (ie Demerix, Yar`lir hammer, harrier hammer). By comparison, most Berzerkers have a good slash weapon, but no good piercer or blunt (or pikestaff). Even if the Ber had comparible weapons as the ranger, i'ld prolly still give the ranger the edge since they can pull their weight on the spell mob - they do ~3 times the dps on that as BER. Ranger atk buffs / auspice of the hunter are also a nice addition - at least moreso than BER utility.

Ingenuity is a lot harder than weaponry. The boss there puts out an obscene amount of dps, even on a warrior. Weaponry mobs aren't that high dps, you just have to have high dps in your group to kill them in time.

Also, something that's rarely said, on fear, the fearless mobs ARE mezzable (but fearable mobs aren't)

Most time level groups simply can't produce the dps needed to kill the weaponry mobs within the needed timeframe. But you right, assuming the group has the dps, ingenuity would be the harder trial to beat.
