Nicely done. That photagraphy really has a handle on their camara. I have a few images like that as well. Just a matter of locking focus first for them instant shots. And reflexes to grab them.

Of course, they could be cheeting and this is all spliced from a digital recording. ;p

Some of the other pics in the thread are done by someone holding the camera and someone else throwing the cat up in the air, and as it turns and twists to land on its feet you get those shots.

The first set I think the cat is chasing something and the guy is just shooting a series of shots in a burst. I'd like to know what percentage of pictures the photographer actually used. I'd say it's close to 2 or 3%

I doubt it's from a digital recording, it's hard to get sharp pictures like that from a still pulled from a moving picture (unless you have some seriously high end gear). More than likely it's like Araxx said, some guy shooting in burst mode. He's probably got enough "throw away" shots to make a flip book.
