trying to figure out just how worthy this aa is. any opinions?

i have the first level and am contemplating between the 6aa second level of this or gift of mana.

Personally...I think gift of mana is MUCH more useful. However, seeing those bigger crits is always nice :)

do you know how much bigger the second level increases crits? the first level turned a 2.2k crit into a 2.4 so thats pretty nice, just wondering on the second level.

Go for the GoM. Crits are for fluff to make ya look good.

Gift of mana

With df you're talking about 25% of base 21% (at best) of the time. If you've already got decent focus effects (which aren't calculated into the df bonus) you're only talking about a 2 or 3% increase in DPS. GoM will go off for nukes AND heals, and make your mana pool last longer.

I heard a rumor Illuminated Hammer from Yxtta primals has a higher proc rate than Hammer of hours, but not sure about that (since I don't have an HoH yet ><)

Well I never had a Hammer of Hours to compare, but my Illuminated Hammer procs quite often if I melee. And if I was watching correctly, I think it critted every time it proced.
