I tried to get to tables last night to solo but I was unable to make it there. I got close but ran into some see invis mobs. I have never been here alone I always had a group and only ran there once and we faught the see-invis.

Can someone please tell me how and the best way to get to the tables?

Also, which mobs see-invis?

Once I get to tables which mobs do I solo and what is the best way to solo them and in what area?

How would I solo them? (Root/snare/DOT) or (kite)

when you zone in, invis and run along the wall the whole time. if you have a horse you can get up high on the wall before c2 and levy across both walls. if not you'll have to go through it, nothing in there sees invis, just watch the birds on the way out cause they do.

after that, stay on the right wall again till you get to c3. static mobs aren't a prob before you get there but you'll have to con the roamers for random see invis and of course avoid the named. once you get to c3, every mob sees, but has a tiny aggro range. just stay smart and don't get too close to one and you should be fine.

once your there, you can kite or kill any charmer, wizard, chaplin, protector, guardian or soldier. the latter 3 are warriors, and have 45k hps. the charmer and wiz have 25k, the worst they do to ya is dispell ya. the chaplins (clerics) have 30k and will ch themselves below 50% till they're outta mana. root rot is a waste of time for a druid, we only have a couple of dots that will really do anything in fire. kite or quad kite.

From zone-in:
Hug north wall running west (with soe on)
Use lev + horse trick to get over wall (invis on of course)
Once over/through the other side of the wall ahead you might see 2 phoenixes if they're up.... don't get close to them.
Hug the north wall all the way around till you run into a castle wall type thing.
Enter the castle, at this point most everything sees invis but has a ~really~ low aggro radius.
Ninja your way between aggro radii and once you're through the gate, welcome to tables. There are 9 spawns in the tables area, and 6 right outside the arch.

Best way to take them imo is classic quad/dot kiting. Nothing there summons and they're all snarable (though sometimes a bit resisty). Using time orb and tempest wind I managed to pretty much stay at full mana and was ready for a second quad immediately after finishing the first (not that it really matters, if you just burn them out you'll have plenty of time to med). The last single guy I just burned down using ancient glacier frost, though glitterfrost would work just as well I'd bet. 11% aa per kill at level 70, 44% per quad, and a respawn time of 20-25 minutes iirc. If you run out of mobs in the tables area, you can (usually, unless there's a group pulling the castle's mobs) gank a couple from right outside the arch.

edit: Tenielle beat me to it =p

Does it have to be a Horse? I have a Droga will that work?
I don't have all my 66 -70 spells yet but close missing 5 i think. Whats the best spellss to use on those? Least resisted. I Quadded with lightning and AE snare and AE root for back up? what debuuf sheould I useor do i need to use them?

Tempest Wind was rarely fully resisted for me, some partials... Karana's Rage was fully resisted ~30% of the time and partially resisted a lot more. I keep both up to use KR on a GoM proc since tempest wind has a long refresh. I just use ensnare until it sticks, and keep a root memmed (or my favorite clicky pants ^,^). Can use glacier/eci's to debuff cold if you want to. And you just need a mount in general, I use a 10k horse cause I'm a cheap bastard and we haven't done Seru/Emp in a while for fun =/

I usually pull with serpent vines; then overwrite that with ensnare. Thats the $$ approach :p

Tempest wind from the sword from PoE or the spell. I don't have the spell yet and still working on getting them I have none of the 70 spells yet never win a roll on them.

I have never had Tempest Wind resisted, with or without Glacier debuffing. Debuff, though, if you are going to be using an ice nuke, otherwise you will see lots of total and partial resists.

I like taking on solo casters. After you snare and root them (I assume you can click your pants for your rooting), and load up a set of DoTs, I hit Tempest Wind then click my pants. The root typically doesn't break for me on the first or second wave, but if it does, the follow up root often lands in time to keep them in range. Also, casters will often sit and cast spells during this process, keeping them in range even if the root breaks.

Don't bother trying to root any of the non-casters.

Tempest Wind (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=5345&source=Live)

Level 66, should be able to buy a rune if you aren't lucky on drops.

One more question. My mana pool is 6400+ with out KEI or better. Is that enought to successfully solo PoFire?

Netura

Thats enough. I had a 4500 mana pool when I first got into fire with FT6...I could do 1 or 2 mobs in a row. At 6300 mana you will be fine :)

You dont even need to have a horse to get past c1 (aka Druav Castle, or C2 in tenielle's post). Back in the PoP days it was a pain in the ass to get across because people had slow PCs and their levi sort of dragged them down - however, nowadays you can levi across fine.

the thing is, to solo sustainably in pofire you need to regen the 35 mana to resnare every 13 minutes and keep at least 1 dot or something on. You might have to take it a bit slower, but it's really up to the individual to figure out the best and most sustainable way to solo =)

When I first started to solo in PoF, I used one of the following approaches :-

1) Pull 1 mob with epic 1 dot, apply a dot or two and use my best ice nuke to kill them. I had enough mana for 2 or 3 before I had to med.

2) Pull 4 mobs and kill with Karana's Rage. Used to take up to 20 minutes and I would have to resnare the quad which could prove interesting.

Once I got hold of a Orb of Clinging Death I never bothered with single mobs.

I would pull with clicky dot and snare each mob. I would keep a clicky DoT active on each mob in my quad and use Karana's Rage a couple of times each lap of tables.

I could finish a quad in 10 - 12 mins and be ready to go for the next quad.

Since then the following changes have made it easier to solo in PoF :-

1) I use Tempest Wind as I have never seen it resisted since SoE changed it
2) I use DoN snares to snare resistent mobs before I apply ensnare
3) FT cap increased to 20 via AAs
4) Maximum level of 70 means bigger mana / health bars
5) More mana regen from Oak, Mask, C6, SA

The only downside is that at 65 a single kill was worth 14% AA exp compared to 11% AA at 70 but we do kill quicker at 70.

It's a really rare drop off a potime boss, so unless you're at the point where your guild can kill potime gods it's a bit out of reach =/

I just got my orb...after 2 years of raiding time. Its sweet. Now I just need a tempest blade.

spanky_p

Now I got one of those from raiding in PoE and I like it. I use that and my epic. I swap them with the bandoiler.

Thanks for all the input guys going to PoFire tonight before the raid and see if I can get the hang of killing there and getting to the zone safely. Of course that means I will be doing them one to two at a time till I get used to the habits of those mobs but I learn fast so i should be quaddig no later than Friday.

I was lucky, I got mine after a couple of months in Time. And I was the 3rd or 4th druid to get one. The stats are showing its age at this point, but you just can't beat the clicky. I also have the Tempest blade, though I no longer equip it. I was happy to not I can click it from inventory! :)

HMM, did not know that you could click it from inventory. I can epic my epic and click it from inventory. Nice i will try that to night but using the bandoiler is not bad either.

Speaking of tempest blade...has anyone here killed Lord Mith Marr with 1-2 groups lately? or Know if its possible?

Dayuna

I heard it has been one grouped, but I can't confirm that.

I'd think anguish geared folk could one group Mith Marr himself, the difficult part I'm guessing would be the room spawns.

In any case, if anybody does so and has a blade of the tempest rotting, let me know. :) (or an orb of death for that matter, though guild just got the first one the other day, holding my breath for another.)

Edit: hmm, unless you do something sneaky like clearing the room and then pulling him to the zoneline or behind the fountain with the help of some train/evak/escaping....

Me and some guildies killed LMM with about 4 groups a few months ago. Maybe one group of that was mains, the rest were twinks and friends. As long as you have a good puller, good tank, and decent dps (respawns) you should be gtg. With 3 clerics healing the tank went berzerk maybe 3 times.

Keep in mind it's a flag mob, if you have trouble finding people you could easily find hordes of randoms to come that'll pass on the blade ;p.

Man, there were 5 raids for the pre-elemental PoP progression that nobody ever did as pickup stuff on our server... Saryn/KoS, 3 HoH trials, and Mith Marr. I even found one person who did a successful Saryn pickup raid and a guild that was open to guests for 3 HoH trials... but never once did I see an MM one. =/
