Highlights relating to us:

Will druids and wizzys ever get an AA to stop them leaving their group members behind when they evac?

There is meant to be an inherit risk involved with most things in the game. Evac, by its nature, is removing risk from combat by allowing you to escape when you would have likely died instead. The chance of it leaving someone behind is very small, but its there to ensure that the ability isnít something you can rely on to work every time. We have to be very careful when making evac work more often since it directly affects the risk involved in combat. So, removing that small chance to leave someone behind isnít likely to happen.

Will slow and snare ever be added as effects to augs for weapons?

No, you will not find augments that allow you to proc slow or snare. You wonít even find new weapons with those effects.

What's taking so long with the healing changes; that is the druid stances and whatever with shamans?

Many of the healing changes were made several months ago in the large batch of spell changes. Specific to the druid stances, thatís always been planned as one of the last things we wanted to do. In order to balance the stances out properly, all the other pieces really need to be in place first.

So, healing is pretty much done, it sounds like.

Either SOE totally mis-stated their intention for stances and mislead us into thinking their timetable was "weeks" and not "years" LOL or something has changed at SOE.

Was I the only one who thought stances would be in back in April?

Ok I was wrong but SOE had to know about our concerns since March and a simple "Stances are not anticipated until 2006" would have been nice and maybe a one line "SOE has finished the healing changes"

Their communication still bites but I remain hopefull that the information door has opened just a crack and we should encourage SOE to swing the door wide open :)

They did list a time table.

Stances will not be added, until we figure out what we are doing with shamans.

While it is certainly vague, I am not sure why anyone would think days or weeks form that statement.

Well, we have known for some time now that stances were last on the list of things to be done. No one should be surprised, and it is pointless to complain about whether we were mislead last March (or whenever).

More telling is the fact that the healing changes appear to be pretty much done. I get the impression that healing druids have been expecting some more substantial changes that what we've already seen. Since it doesn't look like that is going to happen any time soon, healing druids are going to have to hang their hats on the healing stance.

Seems pretty clear that SOE considers Reptile to be a base heal spell for all high level druids. It really does address an area we are weak in. Now if I can only get it LOL.

Either way it is a goal that I will eventually obtain. I just hate the way SOE puts what "I" consider to be class balancing spells on hard (for average players) to obtain quests.

Amen! I am still working my ass off trying to get this spell. The average LFG person just isn't up to snuff to complete these hard missions. I am stuck on 68.3 because a lack of people. On my latest attempt, the group seemed ok till we started. The pally we had was 70, but only had 8k hps buffed and seemed like he had no def AA's. Could have been one of those "oh I found Guk to level to 70", or just very very casual.

I personally dont really like the idea of "stances" per say. I just think we should get to about 75% or 80% of a cleric normally. Stances make me think I'm gonna be locked into being a cleric when I rolled a druid.

GoD spells just recently became researchable.. and well.. GoD is at least 2 years old =p

So *if* they did, it wouldn't be anytime soon I would think.

Sorry off topic but wanted to reply...

68.3 is the hardest mission of the 68 cycle. A long mission .. and the highest risk is the named at the end.

The named increases dps from 50/hit at the start to 3200/hit (quadding?) or more when near death. So tell group not to use ANY disks or abilities until named is below 50% health ... concentrating the best defensive on tank/damage on dps after 30%.

If i can allow myself to give some hints .. form group with
a) the best tank u can afford to get .. RSS+ level tank required
b) cleric MH till 50%/ fast heals at the end, you patch and a shammie HOTs
c) get max dps kind ... good any combination of 2 (rangers or wizzies or rogues) to fill up

After u do the mission's easy tasks quickly clean up adds near named then charge named asap .. so u dont get repops. Keep casters at range as the named will make you fly on adds if you too near.

- shammie slows, cripples .. druid debuffs atk/ac with the 2 fire debuffs

-Between 70% and 50% you and shammie stack all possible dots on named while cleric heals solo.. u want to make the high damage phase as short as possible, else you'll wipe. Try timing the dots so that they will last till end of fight, so longest duration first.

-at 40% (dont be late! healing time!!!) start chain casting fast heals, have the shammie HOT then patch too. Tank should start using disks ..

-THEN have the dps throw all possible dps at the mob, using all best dps abilities they have. If all goes well you'll have finished in a few seconds of hell ...

gratz =) Hope this is somewhat useful.

Ah note: if tank goes down EVAC immediatly .. if you are lucky someone survives and you can try named again .. else the zone will reset very fast and you have to start over.. Also if u bind at the instance named (Meldrek?) in noninstance stoneroot a bit high on wall you should be able to zonein again in time.
