Novus Invictus is currently recruiting for 2 druids. (I'll settle for one.) We are raiding typical Druzzil Ro "high end" stuff: CoA, DoN dragons, misc DoDh progression raids and Tacvi (aka the farm). We raid 6 nights a week 7pm-11:30ish EST with one night designated a free night. Loot is distributed via Loot Council based on your loot totals over X amount of days and Raid Attendance.

What I am looking for more than anything is dedication to being a druid. We usually have 3 druids on per night with 4 on weekends. We are a tight knit group of druids looking for another druid to join our ranks and make fun of the rangers and clerics all raid in our druid channel.



Requirements:

A Druid's Druid
If you reallly want to be a necromancer, cleric, ranger, etc... don't bother. You may box other toons, but know where your loyalties lie. The other druids you will be playing with are all druids through and through.

AA -200ish
Critical AA's are of course healing (I'll take care of the nuking while you're healing don't worry), Spell Casting Subltey 3, and Gift of Mana 3. I can send you a list of the prefered AAs if you want it.

EQUIPMENT
Gear is gear, we all need it: over time you will get it. You don't have to have super equiped now, because if you have the playtime you will get equiped in time. I won't lie, I joined a Raiding guild in 2002 because I was a greedy loot whore but I stay in a raiding guild because I love my fellow druids.

What you should have as a minimum are some DoN augs for your focii and DoN resist augs if you are low in resists. Mana is great but if your dead from an AE you can't use it.

TEAMWORK
NI druids function as a unit. United we stand, divided we fall.

RAID ATTENDANCE
Looking for a RA of 50% or better and the higher the RA the more flexible we can be on the other requirements. :wiggle:

mord, what do you mean by this? does your raid allow alt raiding or is this implying that you can't play any other class past a certain point.

I'm just curious cause it caught my eye, I'm not interested in switching guilds ATM.

I can't say this is really true of the druids I am guilded with. Yet I've met alot of people who play one character b/c its more advanced ie. aa & gear, but really they enjoy playing their other toon more. They don't want to start over but they really don't enjoy their class anymore. I box a shaman, but I would never consider him as more fun, my box adds to my skills but he isn't my druid.

Basically, Looking for someone that enjoys the druid class, not just plays a druid since its their best equiped character. If you aren't happy with your class, then you need to fix the situation.

/duck if certain people from my guild read this I'm sure they will take it all the wrong way. Oh well I'm not really known for being subtle.

For me, about a year ago I felt that druids were a red-headed step-child class and that no one wanted us. Now I know that EVERYONE feels that way; when they put on LFG.

I think thats always been a bad misconception about druids, Even a year ago NI was recruiting druids (cough b/c some druid .. maybe me.. retired). After 4 months of trying to recruit a druid and getting only a few apps who turn out not to play, I'm starting to feel like there are no new druids out there. Or maybe I smell... maybe I need to offer something as a bribe to get them to join?

Cool, I think a RL friend of mine is in NI. He's a human paladin but all I can remember is his cleric's name atm, Medicade. I was stationed in South Korea with him and now he's in Japan. Heh, he was bugging me all the time to swap servers to Dro.

Hmm only Human pally we have atm is Joejo, only people I knew that were stationed in Korea were a warrior and a druid, Kaneis and Joebrown but that was a year or more ago. Thats not saying much though, times change and characters come and go.

We recently replaced all our old shaman with new ones, I can't say they give me any reason atm. Plus my other toon is in shaman channel.:shuffle: BUT soon as they get their 2.0's they try and steal my raid groups, ie. all rangers. Stinky shaman!

I've got a druid somewhere around 56 or so I could dust off for ya..heh.
