Simply put. I hope they make a group SoE Spell for PoP wouldnt be overpowering and a real nice addition which they could put in very easily.

Group SoE gets a thumbs up from me. Be nice if they looked at regular SoE fizzle rate and reduced it. I know I'm not the only one who experiences an all too high fiz rate on soe. Not a huge problem by any means, but annoying nonetheless.

I was just wishing I had a group SoE last night every time the thing wore off in my group. Group buffs have me spoiled I guess.<G>

Group SoE would be great, but please don't ask for it now. This is something that will take away from our real issues, much like the snare on our epic, the 10% heal penalty, dot stacking, etc.

Hehe, I figure group soe will be one of our better spells in the PoP expansion. :p

I would also like them to change the tags on spells like soe and levitate so we can cast them on lower level players. It isn't like having soe is going to be unbalancing for a lower level player, and why should I be forced to use a batwing to levitate some people but not others? I can see it with hp buffs, but for the other buffs it just doesn't makes sense.

I am expecting one good spell with PoP, 2 that are convenient reworkings of old spells (ie group SoE) and so kinda desireable, and 7 irrelevant and valueless spells. That is the usual breakout.

Also, we should expect that some other class (or all other classes) will get some spell or skill or item that will render some buff we currently have useless. Say, oh, an upgrade to the bard resist song that does +175 intead of +100 but doesn't stack with CoS.

Watch for group summon drink and group summon food coming soon hehe ; ). It is kind of a long standing joke for me because someone once tried to convince me they were real and dropped in TOFS. A few weeks back I saw some stuff go into Lucy that sounded very much like group summon food and group summon water. Probably a red herring or a misinterpretation...I hope.

Heh if they make group soe as rare as group dmf they might as well not put it in. It's so rare that most people believe the spell to be a myth even though it IS in the game.

There may well be more ancient master of death on your server than group DMF. =) It's a soloable camp if you have the faction (and even if you don't if you're a necro.) But it's not a nice one in the least and rare.

Group SoE... the druid class needs something other than yet another convience without any real benefit.

While we are on the subject of SoE, I would like to see some kind of modification to the "floating up and down" effect it presently has. Don't know what would be appropriate, but honestly..... if in SoE mode for long periods of time, I walk away from the computer feeling like I have been at sea with 20 foot swells. Alot of my friends actually ask for SoW instead because of this, which is really annoying to have to mem and un-mem to meet this request, particularly when on raids where available spell buttons are in limited supply.

Adding a camo effect to the spell would only be beneficial when moving to a camp spot and/or traveling considering that the camo effect would be lost when fighting begins, thus the whole buff would drop. It would have a very nice but very limited usage factor.

Yah, the bobbing does suck. Even though it lasts twice as long, keeps you from taking fall damage, runs slightly faster and has infravision (if seeing impared race), a great many people click it off and ask for a SoW. /growls To the point I generally ask a person if they want SoE or SoW. For the most part, it should be a no brainer that SoE is prefered, but the bobbing just sickens too many people.

Doesn't have infravision but it does have see invis, which is what I think you were trying to say. Not sure tho. As in I can't quite decide which of the two you were trying to transmit, as in, tell us.

The bobbing makes me nauseous as well. I really only use this spell for travel. If I'm hunting in an outdoor zone, I'm using wolf form. I wouldn't mind a group SoE, but I'd prefer new spells that would be useful instead of convenience.

I was thinking this last night when the raid was running from Umbral to Akheva, group SoE would have made things faster at least. On SoE though-anyone else notice a large fizzle chance? that spell is the only one i can fizzle like 5 times in a row

Here is one we can actually win, or be granted by the Verant gods rather.

If we got this spell, I bet 5 minutes later a cleric would post on eqclerics that druids are balanced now that druids got the spell that was asked for, while complaining that clerics dont outdamage monks with the new 60th hammer spell. Ok, being a bit overly sarcastic regarding the hammer, but it wouldnt suprise me at all if a post saying druids were balanced cause of the new group SOE spell did pop up, heh.
