What's your most common toolkit of spells to achieve max sustained dps in group situations (assuming you're not stuck with healing or whatnot).

Assume for the sake of argument maxed offensive aas, and lame 30% fire/cold/magic focus across the board :-)

I realize this fluctuates a lot depending on the overall dps of the group and the resists of the mob, but I'm interested in hearing your baseline setup.

For group situations it depends. I'm usually healing on these. There are raids though were healing is enough and so I can dps a little. For MAXIMUM Dps I use the following on those fights:
1) Dawnstrike
2) Solstice Strike
3) Wasp Swarm
4) Immolation of the Sun
5) Vengeance of the Sun
6) Vengeance of Tunare

7) Tempest Wind - Only on fights without mezzables or people charmed nearby

I stack all my dots including Orb of Clinging Death, and i start nuking with Dawnstrike. ASAP i get a fire of dawn proc, or a GoM i nuke with Solstice. I always make sure that the mob is HoR'd so that my resists will be even lower when i cast Immolation on it.

I kinda like Tempest Wind myself. Its an AE of 3 hits plus during that time u can also cast your fire nuke in it to for additional dps.

I want a lame 30% focus :o(

35%+ Focus Augments are available in DoD missions as random from chests iirc.

70.2 Normal has a 45% Magic Focus to DoTs
One of them has a 40? percent fire focus augment
and Seeker Hard has a Fire Focus on the legs which it came drop.

yeah, it's the pyrlien vengence focus. Damned if I know the name but the it's from the task from the shiliskin guy in Illsalin along the water on the middle island I think.

Last of the Legion? I think, is the fire focus.

The MR focus is 40%, like the ring from Ikkinz1, which is nice to have around.

What is up with all the DoD missions dropping focii that are Level 67?

They don't.

(which BTW has harder red mobs =) Its a long and difficult mission. Bring a good puller and excellent CC power)

Much easier to get the Hard Seeker's (70.4) pants .. if you get a strong group together mission takes 15 minutes, so try and try again till u get the pants, as i did. That's a 35% focus

The magic 40% focus aug *DROOL* drops off 70.2 normal in illsalin.
Same instance as vorgannoth mission, normal=harder.

Same problem, long mission (3-6hours) with
-50% chance of winning if not uber group (my estimate),
-20% chance that chest has the aug
-20% chance of winning roll (1 passes)

1/50 overall chance of winning the piece doing one mission.
Plan to invest 300 game-hours in getting it with pickup groups.
Too much for me. But you might get lucky=)

Or, group with people that dont need and are uber ..
2hours for guaranteed finish, noone else needs = 20% chance to get from 1 mission.
Plan to invest 10-15 game-hours only in this case
