How about giving us a Single target HoT, 3-4000 hps, 500mana.(instead of that CH stuff), would enable us to heal very effeciently, and not stepping on clerics direct heal role. on top of that we would be able to give a limited help to the CH chain in form of holding a elixir up on the tank, healing rodders, and topping off monks and similar.

Also a copy of that Group HoT clerics just got - would be very usefull, great for AE situations, and group healing/rodding - basicly what druids should have had in the first place, especially since we dont have any jolt or divine aura type of spells to keep up with a large direct heal :)

way to screw anyone who spent 24 points on healing aas and doesn't benefit from them anymore. not to mention stacking issues.

personally im opposed to a target HoT for obvious reasons but i think a group one along with a target direct heal would be alright.

Sounds like what we have been asking for all along. Druids are the only class with only direct heals if you discount regen.

The percentage heal is a way to keep up with CH as the game scales. I still think a percentage heal is needed - just not a capped one.

HoT's are the bread and butter of the game. Druids need one.

How does Druid AA points figure into a HoT? There is some AA skill that give us a HoT? I know we get 10% better healing with tons of aa points but I still fail to see how that is related.

Surely the reason for the 3khp cap is that some druids can also Dire Charm, and handing out a 10khp/75% heal would make druids who can also Dire Charm overpowered when soloing ?

How would you counter this objection to an `uncapped` 75% CH ?

A Cleric can cast CH on our Dire Charmed pets, so why does it matter if we can do the same?

Shadow is right in the xp'ing aspect. Many druids that I know use DC to get a pet and solo with it. CH'ing that pet would add new meaning to powerful for those that have that ability.

The problem is and I HOPE that Verant realized when they put non% based things in the game it broke it. Its much easier to balance %s then spells.

Slow breaks the game just as much as CH does...if not moreso.
