Heyas,

I know there was a thread around here a long time ago that listed the big kills that druids had made solo...

Is this thread still around? If so, could someone point me to it please because I can't find it for the life of me; and if not what are the biggest kills you uber druids of today have made? :D

Cheers,
Telaman

I have Soloed (In no particular order):

Captain Krasnok: Ridiculously easy at 75, after you debuffs the adds you get, especially if he does not aggro right off the bat. Have done it twice now, first time was really rough as adds did not get debuffed and I killed Captain with 10% mana left, second time I had 70% mana left as I debuffed the adds quick and didnt aggro him first. I staved off doing this for a while since it is a pain in the ass to trigger because a guildie told me it was tough for a group to do, which I now think he was probably BSing. Captain himself is spell immune, at least to fire and magic.

Cazic-Thule:Did this at 70, he is extremely fire resistant, even with HoR and Immolation of the Sun on, it was impossible to land Corona or Fixation. Longest solo fight I have done yet, fight took an hour to finish, and thats the fight itself, not counting clearing trash to kill him, which for me was only about twentyish mobs.

Derakor the Vinidcator:

Unfortunatly I still could not manage to do this until TSS and level 75, unlike Lluianae's guildie druid did before TSS. Even after 75, it is still a pain in the ass and I BARELY managed to win it. Messing up the spells I had memmed by hitting one of my G Keys with my cast (left arm had surgery on it that week) didn't help me either, but toward the end I had to switch BPs for extra mana pres on heals and had to use White Wolf because I was running so low on mana. At the last 3% he summoned me out of a heal and I had second life proc on me, which allowed me to finish the job.

Lord Yelinak:

Very easy fight, just annoying as all hell and takes a while because of the Godawful knockback he does, his DPS is extremely low. I really need to try and find Tormax up and try him, or try Dain. I probably could have done this at level 70, had I ever thought to try it.

Auliffe Chaoswind and Eindride Icestorm (Tower):
Two of the four BoT Tower bosses, I could probably do Lightning Tower's too, but it would be tough b/c I could not debuff him, so maybe not. I can't remember if this was still before TSS came out or not.

Grieg Veneficus:

Fight is easy, his DPS is really low, the problem is spawning him, which involves killing a bunch of mobs around him which are unharmonyable and have huge assist radii, and running back after using my manastone before he goes inactive again. If those mobs aren't on raid timers, OoC might work now.

Master of the Guard:
Again, comes down to being able to kill mobs quick enough, not so much to spawn him, but so you don't have to deal with them while fighting him. I most likely could have done this at 70 had I bound outside ST to cut down on run time from porting out to manastone my mana back. Unfortunatly I never got around to trying again at 70. Fight was really easy once I got rid of the adds, I just kited him around till I got all debuffs on him then I loaded up DoTs and tanked him while DoTting.

horror construct:
Did this multiple times at level 70, it's fairly easy since you will resist all the knockback crap he does. Fight just takes a while, unless you can afford to DoT him down too, which now I probably could. Fat tribute loot can drop from this event.

Several of the old VP dragons:
VP was bugged a while back and was the old version of the zone, so me and a monk killed all the dragons of the zone over the course of this time, I soloed several of them. This was well before TSS was out.

Korucust:
Did this at 70, fight just takes a while because of his HP, might have just been my imagination, but it felt like he started trying harder once he got really low on hp.

Vhaksiz the Shade:
Gotta use a charmed horse though, his regen is retarded fast, and without charmed pet DPS he will outregen DS damage. Did this and the next mob at 70.
Untel`dak:
While underwater no less, somehow there is a right angle corner down there in which you can tank him. His max hit is bizarrely high (for what he is and where he is), but he RARELY hit for it.
The Sleepwalker:
Pretty much comes down to actually being able to find him. Before I soloed him, I had seen this mob up a total of ONE time, ever. Debuffed he is fairly easy.
Various Fabled mobs:
I don't even remember all the ones I killed solo, but I remember Skarlon was a bitch and a half to do and I barely pulled it off.

Uhhhhhh.... that's all I can think of thats really notable for the time being. On a side note: How the hell do rangers do Vallon Zek? How do they spilt all of them to be able to only kill one at a time? Or wtf do they hit for? Is their max hit that low nowadays?

I talked to Lluianae today and learned how TZ and VZ were done, I jacked Vallon up. That probably could have been done at 70, it pretty much comes down to how well you can kite multiple mobs and making sure not to damage the real one.

I messed up and damaged the real one on the third wave, this happened because I got him and one of the other ones switched around and could have sworn I still had the real one rooted, and I ended up having to finish him off and spawn the next wave. This also supprised me because I thought I was on the last wave since its been ages since I have actually done the event. It took about 45 minutes to kite seven of them around, making sure I kept damaging only the fake ones until I could engage the last real one and kill him. Reptile alone is literally enough to keep me healed due to him hitting so fast, but for his low value most of the time, causing reptile to proc quite often.

Edit: looking at the fight parse, the last real ones DPS is pathetically low (this is with 34% shielding & 8% dodgem mod): 162.83 DPS, max hit of 647 low hit of 160 with a modal hit of 187, 50.72% accuracy, 21.05% evasion, 10.37% defense. I guess it just looked like he hit fast, because he only swung at me 347 times in roughly five minutes.

Well hell, I tried Tallon Zek too, albeit this is slightly tainted because of vet AAs, I killed him too. Honestly had it not been for them I don't think I could have done it, IoF made it easy to just resist the spells outright instead of needing to dispell myself (I only did this because dispell wasnt dispelling balance part way into the fight), since I used IoF I used Jester and Servant. Jester refilled my mana when I was at about 50%, so I decided to start laying on even more DoTs, I finished up at 15% mana. He regened HP at certain times (unknown what caused this) and his HP would suddenly jump up by like 6% or so, had the jester not given me mana back I would have needed to blow Ardent Renewal to get my mana back. Fight lasted 28 minutes and I did 595,829 damage to him, no clue on what he did to me as he doesnt actually "hit" you, but I barely had to heal myself at all.

Did Tallon today, just cus i read here it had been done.
25m 04s duration, 521, 886 total damage.

Used IoF at start to resist AEs and could DoT+med without him doing any damage to me.. After IoF wore off i popped my jester, who filled my mana back up at 57% and healed me once - Ended fight on 35% mana. Only had to heal myself directly once using a spell - rest was covered by a cple of potions and clicking my Tacvi hammer when needed.

VZ could prove interesting with the right strat, will give that a go when i get some spare time.

edit: VZ go splat.. first wave was rough but found a simple way to do it quickly after that :)

I 1/2 assed tried Tormax, got him to ~60% before I started running lowish on mana (Staunch was down from a performer attempt the previous night). Basically had self buffs, and BSG, VoI. Splitting the guards was fun though, tanking Tormax + the guards while landing ensnare and channeling an egress so I could run back and kill the guards was a bit of a thrill.

++Baraguj Szuul.

He killed me the first go, and I didn't have second life or tribute TotD up. Second time I won, resorted to using AS aswell as Ardent Renewal vet AA b/c of the mana usage from it. Second Life/Tribute TotD saved me near the start, he flurries like mad and is fairly resistant.

hehe nice reads after not playing EQ for so long seeing druids solo the boss mobs it used to take a full raid to kill :)

I got Saryrn down to 25% I had to use Vet AAs to do it. I was soooooo pissed off when I got killed. Ill try again when vet AAs reset.

Edit: I also had to use a charmed raven, without it I do not think it would be possible. I have no idea how Lluianae got up there without charmed pet DPS unless whatever their PoP calm spell is works on them mobs there, harmony can diagdf.

So I've managed to do the Kunark dragons, CS dragon, Zelnithiak, Servitor of Luclin, BoT namers(not tower), Elemental namers(Korascian Warlord for example), WoS namers/trash etc. I'm curious what is the next raid boss that I could handle, fully buffed I am at about 14khp/2.2kAC and 12.5kmana.
