Alright.. I admit it... *smile* i just recently started playing EQ (three days ago) and i am very lost.... I chose druid as my class, and i am a wood elf... so i started the quest for the leaf runner armor... and i just cant seem to figure out how to make it, much less find all the components i need... (afterall, i just now refound the druids guild *impish grin*) However.. i did find all of the compented for the sleeves.. but when i tried to combine them at the loom like the npc told me... it just told me that i couldn't combine those items in that container.... Am i just missing something? (im sorry if this has already been posted.... i didn't see it.. but i could have over looked)
Druidess in training ^_^ (wahoo, lvl 5!)

Hmm. I think I see the problem.
According to the quest info I found, you should have received a special container, called a Leafrunners Assembly Kit, to place the items into for the combine. Did you get one of these?
If not, go back to the quest NPC and say 'i am ready to begin my training', and he/she should give you one.

lol actually i did.. and i found out the problem, thanks to a very nice person on the E'ci server that helped me out... The Npc says to put everything in the container to combine it... but what i found out is that you have to put everything *except* the pattern in the container... and then put the pattern in the loom container with what you get from the other creation lol... the NPC says to put it all together... Which extreamly confused me.... Thank you for your help *smile*

This made me smile. There was no nwebie quest armor when I started playing.
I like to wake up a few hours before work and relax and fiddle around and drink coffee. This is when I do tradeskills and start twinks that I can play for a half hour or so once a week or thereabouts.
Well, I have a level 10 druid on FV server, and only this morning she completed all the Leafrunner armor. I am so proud :) .

^_^ so it can be done! ^_^
I have spent the past three days in a hardy search for a coyote, which by the way i have come to belive is just a myth that old players tell new ones lol, because the skull of this thing i search of is needed for my tunic, and the likelyhood of me finding it is growing smaller every day. Any suggestions on where to find the mythical beast?

Ahh the elusive coyote skulls!
They are hiding in Steamfont my friend, and its easiest to travel there by way of plane of knowledge and the Ak Anon stone. Small Coyotes and regular coyotes live there in quantity. You need two of them for your Bracers. Its the orc ribcage you will need for your tunic.

I guess i wrote it down wrong *blush* Steamfont. Got it. And here someone told me Freeport... Thank you for your help ^_^ I will be sure to post when i finally get it all together.

There are coyotes in a zone close to Freeport and I thought of them first actually, but no skulls dropped there for me. So, within 15 minutes of killing coyotes in Steamfont I had my 2 skulls and my complete set.
Good luck to you and do report in.

There are also coyotes in S ro around the druid ring but unless you have someone to port you there and watch your back you will be very vulnerable there so I wouldn't try it.

I remember it took me many DAYS to figure out that I should't have the pattern IN the assembly kit also.. They really should fix that.
Congrats on your armour, I wore mine into my late 20's...It's really got nice stats and it was FREE :p It was a long time before I had the pp to buy something better or the levels to go kill for a 'dropped' item.

/sigh I remember that I wore armor created from dropped furs with several slots empty until 17ish when I discovered Lavastorm and the bricks that sell for 8gp! That's where I learned the art of porcupining.
Congrats on your armor! :)
