3 glasses of water and 2 tylenol before you sleep.

Then gator-ade (or equivalent) in the morning.

Tried and true university cure!

As much water as you can stand before you go to bed

Hangovers are caused by your brain being dehydrated (alcohol is a dehydrator). Drinking a lot of water will help :)

LOTS of water. Aspirin. Vitamin C.

It's ideal if you drink enough that you wake up in the middle of the night to relieve yourself. Then drink another three glasses of water, take another two aspirin, and another vitamin C.

Basically, there is no cure. You can do things to prevent them or lessen the effects or possibly mask the symptoms afterwards, but you can't cure 'em.

water the night of, and gatoraide the morning after are good...
asprin/tylenol/advil helps, but it's very hard on your liver when mixed with the alcohol, which is already doing to your liver what the new england defence did to Donovan McNabb this past weekend.... i recommend doing without, if you can. your body will thank you when you're 70.

i've also found that a good beer in the morning helps... sure, you're still drunk, but at least the hangover is delayed.

one more cure is not drinking less, it's drinking more.. if you wake up still intoxicated, you do not have a hangover.

only other option is to try different alcohols. red wine gives me a hella bad morning, but whites/champaigne do not. lagers seriously harsh my mellow, but a good stout only enhances it.

if all else fails get a couple bottles of a good irish wiskey and go pass out for a week. 1 hangover / week is better than 7! to paraphrase Python, irish wiskey is not a drink for socializing, it's a drink for laying down and avoiding...

Yup, lots of water before bed.

'course, on a Sunday morning (after the epic Saturday session), sleep also works well

Depending on the 'type' of hangover, a couple of tins of Red Bull can also help. Nice for that Monday morning at work when someone asks a question and you stare blankly back.

I'm guilty of playing/posting drunk on many an occasion, usually followed by edit/delete/apologise in the morning!

I think it's mainly a Brit culture thing (we love to get drunk) tho no doubt more populated areas of the world also go the same path!
