The Skin to Vines workaround was apparently added.

The debuff can now be reapplied.

So anyone have good information about this spell? I have heard it blocks Shaman Feralize spell. Our spell turns mobs to plants and Feralize turns it into a animal, making it more vunerable to 1hb weapons and decreases mobs attack... is this correct? I'd assume Feralize is more useful in raids, what everyone else thinks?

Sorry if this has been discussed already here somewhere, didn't see it :)

To the best of my knowledge there are no stacking issues between S2V and Feralize. I believe a Shaman can make normally invalid target for S2V into a valid target by casting Feralize on it. I have to admit that when my guildies and I cast Feralize and S2V on raid mobs, I don't pay attention to who gets what to land first. I get no worn off messages and no one complains that something is blocking their spells.

My guild is currently parsing to see what the accuracy debuff on Feralize is getting us.

Well other changes the body type to animal and other to plant. They cannot be both at the same time right? I'm just trying to figure out, which spell would be more useful to use against raid encounter. Plus I think rangers have a new spell which works on animals and I once got a complaint after Druid cast Skin to Vines on raid mob and ranger spell was no more landing on it.

It depends on which is more dps, the single ranger spell, or increasing Fire damage across the raid by 2.5% averaged.

Shadow Knights like the plant type cause it lets them cast Drink of Decomposition. This means they can hit a 1207 point DD for approx 485 mana vice using a 1285 point lifetap for DPS at a cost of 747 mana.

Since SK's outnumber Rangers in my guild 5 to 1, my GL was really psyched to see Skin to Vines cast and kept on raid mains.

Did I mention he's an SK, too? :)

Necromancers can use their drink spell also, when this spell is active. Cool news about the fix.

Posted on SOE forums but, there is an apparent problem with this "fix" - the change now causes other problems. Mobs that were summoned/undead/animal no longer behave as that once Vines is applied. It's been banned on our raids for now.

Kalevalatar - when Vines first came out, it made the NPC vulnerable to slashing weapons, that no longer happens. It's just the fire bonus now.

This is intended. It's not a problem. When you change the bodytype - the bodytype is changed. It's upto the Druids to know what the mob type is, and if it would be better off as a Plant or not.
