Ok... I'm only 250 pages or so into it and I'm just incredulous that Dumpledore has lost so much control. Don't spoil it for me, but I really hope that gets explained a bit better.

And those wizards that were siding with Dumpledore that were on that council and resigned... I just want to throttle them! What's to prevent the council from just railroading everything their way?

Obviously the non-muggle world needs a better balance of power!

I have the first couple of HP books, but never got around to reading them. Between working 65 hours a week and having a toddler in the house it's hard to find time to read... my stack of unread books is growing quite tall.

All I want to know is if its true Harry gets laid in this book =P

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in Cho right now. I hope Harry gives her a pass... I think it's gonna be Ron + Hermione though. They argue so much it must be love and Ron is very jealous of Viktor.

I'm almost done with the book... damn thing kept me up until 1am. I was laughing quite hard over parts of it. Like the Weasley twins antics.

When you finish the book, start a new thread like "People who've read the latest Harry Potter talking about it, no holds barred" or something, so we can dish =)

The Ron & Hermione match has occured to me, too, but I think Ron would step aside if Harry ever showed any romantic interest in Hermione. Then there's Ginny, but I think she's already given up on Harry (as should I; he blew it big time with Cho). :)
