Not sure anyone actualy follows this sort of news anymore but the latest Bin Laden footage is very old, and being put forth as new footage.

Bin Laden is blamed for attacks across the world
President Jacques Chirac has ordered an inquiry into the leak of a French secret service memo claiming that Osama Bin Laden had died.

I just watched the newest MEMRI released compilation and it was full of the same fluff and reruns. They still show the scenes of Zarqawi (attempting) to fire his weapon (they cut it before he jams it). They still harp on the 9/11 incident. In fact, I've been thinking. We don't see any actual new footage of Bin Laden. Only that #2 guy. I wouldn't be suprised at all to find out he's dead. They won't tell us, though. Its great propaganda.

Oh, and since the OP is such a conspiracy nut, they above doesn't mean the US government.
