I just got an email today from Ranchoweb saying that they're not hosting images or anything for free anymore. I looked and looked and I can't find any that are free (I can't buy an account or anything because 1. I'm poor 2. My parents would never let me get something that costs like 10 bucks a month just to host some pictures).

Strike9 is cool except for the fact that they have that stupid strip at the bottom of the images.

Any suggestions?

Talk with your guild, if they have a decently put together webpage and someone who buys/has webspace they can probably just let you upload the picture there. Next idea, some ISP's offer a tiny amount of webspace for lonely people with FrontPage to create webpages, but I am assuming that can also work for pictures.

Hope that helps ya man.

Actually I just found one two days ago after a couple hours of searching. Sighost is really nice, it is also free.

I would've just asked my GL if you could host my pics, but I also would have to ask him every single time if I would be allowed to. I don't want to eat up his space.

I've had 3 in like six months. ALL of them will change their rules, all of them die. Its a case of them giving away something for nothing while taking a drain, while it makes no sense for advertisers to advertise.

I ended up making an extra web account on my isp (cox) for free and just hosting the pics there. My original reason for not doing it on my ISP was more anonymity with my EQ self, but being able to make up to four other web/email accounts with any other name fixed that.

The extreme irony is that Kuolon no Surname says "sighost" is really nice, while his sig is a graphic from there saying:

"bandwith limit exceeded."

I did not notice that until I got to the bottom of typing my post and now I find it quite hilarious and am going to printscreen this page to save that ;)

Its odd though that this says:

www.sighost.us/?page=support (http://www.sighost.us/?page=support)

"Q: Why are the signature accounts so low on transfer?.
A: The free signature hosting is a powerful free hosting plan allowing the simple need to host a signature remotely. Every account is given 50 megabytes of transfer and 1 megabyte of disk space free."

I don't see how you could have already used 50 MEG of transfer with that lil 20 k sig in a couple days.

Well I just ran over my bandwidth limit with it because I had to post some pics over at the monk board  .

I ended up having to create a new account. Just because I ran over my bandwidth doesn't mean that they're not good for hosting 1 image. I just made a boo-boo and got over my limit.
