Goes around. Comes around.

Remember back in the day when someone from Bristlebane hoaxed a spell they swore they quested that gave them indoor sow? They faked screen shots even. I think they called it spirit of the mouse.

So, we LDoN...

What % faster is Run 3? Hopefully something less than 30%?

One place indoor SoW would have some use is making a run through Kael *shruggs.

I always SoE myself before zoning into kael.. Then I train all the giants to the arena where my guild is happily waiting to slaughter them all.

Yeah, looks like Spirit of the Shrew is going to be yet another spell that goes to the back of my spellbook, together with Feral Pack and the new line of Vengence spells.

You guys do realize that there are lower level toons and toons that don't have run 3 that play this game. These people might find this spell useful.

Yea the high lvls arnt the only ones that play this game:P. And Feral pack and the new Vengeance line are pretty nice IMO, 300 more dmg per tick added to our current DoT stacking abilities? ATM I do 612dmg per tick when DoTing, with the new Vengeance spell it will be 912 dmg per tick (that ofcourse assuming they all stack).

I would be VERY surprised if the new DoT actually stacked with our top Fire DoT (I believe it currently bounces, though it's possible it could change before going live).

As for indoor SoW, it will be a nice addition for lower level chars, but is in NO way an upgrade to the 60+ crowd, although many folks will point at it and call it thus.

The new zones for LDoN are only supposed to last 30-45 minutes. If you sow yourself before heading into the dungeon, and regular sow lasts for 36 minutes. Spirit of the Shrew would be good for the last 9 minutes. And SoW is 55% increase in speed, where Spirit of the Shrew is 30%, who would use it?

The new zones for LDoN are only supposed to last 30-45 minutes

I have not seen that. Where is that from?

Look at the level you get this at. It is obviously intended for lower level characters. I wish I would of had this spell at 34.

At 34 I was still fighting in Infected Paw and this would of been very useful in there. I might of hunted more in LGuk if I had this then.

I think it is a good thing to bring in these type of spells for lower levels.

Actually, the LDoN dungeons can last up to 1 hour.

Hmmm....the previous expansion was for "lower" levels. This expansion is for "lower" levels also? What are they putting in it that would make me buy it then?

We are actually getting at least some higher level spells too though right? I don't mind them putting in lower spells as long as that's not the only spells we get. I have seen other classes with higher spells listed for LDoN.

The reason Ro's DoTs don't stack (between casters) is due to the debuff component. Since the Vengance line has no debuff component, it should stack nicely with other druids.

As far as DoT stacking for a solo druid ... Swarm lines all stack with each other. Ro's line all stack except for the 50+ ones which won't stack. You can cast Flamelick and Immolate and either Immolation of Ro or Breath of Ro together.

Vengance should follow the same model as Swarms. Although I suspect we will be hard pressed to stack these DoTs with our other DoTs on account of the fast duration. Possibly can keep our top two swarms, top curse, top fire and MM blade going before we run out of ticks and have to refresh.

I think you guys spend more time posting then paying attention, that or you just make stuff up and see if anyone notices.

Quote:
The new zones for LDoN are only supposed to last 30-45 minutes
Quote:
Actually, the LDoN dungeons can last up to 1 hour.
What is actually RIGHT ON THEIR WEBSITE:

Quote:
Every adventure has been created with 45-90 minutes worth of exploration in mind.
So you have dungeons that could take 1.5 hours.

Regardless, I play a 65 druid and I am happy to see this spell come into the game. It will be good for lower level players and as someone who loves dungeons I do play lower alts etc for fun that do not have run3.

My 1 hour came from talking to some friends who are in the Beta... 1 hour is the longest they have been given so far. While it may be possible to get longer, so far neither they nor anyone else they have talked to has.
