Hiya, I'm look for some books, links, tips, whatever about how to create ASP webpages. Have a programming background so it shouldn't take me long to figure it out, just looking for a point in the right direction.
Also if anyone has any information about how to host your own site I'd like to chat with ya :)

The only problem with PHP is that the people hosting my site want more money to enable PHP but ASP is already enabled. :)

ASP is too slow for the internet. Opening and closing the database ist just not fast enough

Guess that means I'll have to learn how to host my own site. Not paying those people more money :)

Or use ActiveX components for database handling, tho hosted sites rarely support that methinks... :)
