If you're going to try to quad spirocs at 41, you should have 255 wis, kei at all times, and preferably some ft equipment as well. Quadding dire wolves until 42 or 43 would probably be a better idea. After that, spirocs aren't too bad with kei. The only thing to look out for is that they add, which can be a pain when you try to pull them from their tree. Also, don't let spiroc provens get behind you, since they backstab for about 330. Other than that, its an extremely safe place. Keeping levitate memorized can be a good plan, since you can cast it in a hurry and run out over the water if something goes wrong.

I did spricocs in the days before KEI and ageo and potg were available in the nexus for free or 10pp. It was hard at the level you are describing, but the exp was very nice. I ended up having to root dot when I got resists and was lom.

All I can say is that when I was fom, I would recast Sow lev and regen on myself, med up to full and do my best. It is a pretty safe area for the most part.
