I keep foraging the wolf fur in Velious (EW - my first time there last night). Anyone got any clue what their for? Or the tundra mammoth tusks and tails too for that matter :P
Thanks

Since you do not lose items on a mis-combine try combining 2, or 4 or 8 in a sewing kit to see if you get someting. might be lioke to ?gnole fur or whatever it is. )

A tuft of dire wolf fur is now used in halfling cultural tailoring in producing 100% weight-reducing packs. See EQ Trader's Corner for more details.

Unfortunately, each bag takes a blue diamond to make. :p

Or more, up to 3 BD for the 10 slot. Cheaper to just buy a tink bag, and the extra weight of the tink bag vs. the halfling bag is only anywhere near important to a monk... who can't be halflings...

depends on your source of BDs ... if you farm for your BDs .. then the cost of these hobbit bags can be cheaper than tinks .. also they weigh less than tinker bags which really rocks for monks :)

Please dont destroy these. It takes a horrible amount to even try and craft a bag.

3 tufts = 1 patch dire wolf fur
3 patches = Woven dire wolf fur
4 woven = 1 10 slot attempt

So 36 tufts to attempt one single backpack.

The forage also seems to be one of those things where while trying to forage them you never get them but everyone else in the zone who wanted only food keeps getting tufts and destroying them.

If you are on Xegony and have some tufts please shoot me a tell. I will compensate you for your time.

Thanks

You can view all the Vale recipes on this page:

www.eqtraders.com/secrets...lfling.htm (http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/recipes_tailoring_halfling.htm)

From that page: "Everything that mentions "Vale Forge" or "Vale sewing kit" must be combined by a halfling using their cultural Vale Forge and Vale Sewing kit. As with ALL cultural tradeskill recipes, illusions will not work to "fool" a tradeskill container into thinking you are something that you are not. "

And if you are on Bristlebane, I am happy to buy em off you. I pay for stacks of em. :)

And tinkerer bags are lore so you can have both :) BD are cheap now anyway.

Tink bags aren't lore.
