Why would anyone get Quick Evac, if we have Exodus?

If I charm solo'd a lot I would buy it for sure since it helps on gate and such. But, I don't solo much so...

There is a very 72 minute reuse timer on Exodus. If you need to evac more frequently than that then Quick Evac could be useful.

Does Quick Evac work for Egress too?

Yep, it works on Egress, Succor, and evacs. I don't recall it working on gate or ports but I could be mistaken.

Quick evac is on my long term list because I enjoy doing dangerous (read dumb) things, and I'd hate to only be able to try them once every 72 minutes. Not that death really stops me, but it's a pain some days.

I have Quick Evacuation 2 atm, it with my Cog Encrusted Epulates(sp) lowers the cast time on Egress from 5 seconds to 2.8 seconds, and Succor from 9 seconds to 4.9 seconds, need to get Quick evac 3 and see how much lower I can get it. Will probably be somewhere around 2 seconds for Egress and 4 seconds for Succor.

So if you have a spell haste item, you're probably better off with level 2, since the gains with level 3 would be minimal.

Yep, the absolute lowest that Egress will get is 2.5 seconds. You can get it down to that with the cleric spell haste + mage focus haste... but if you don't have those in high availability, the 3rd level of the AA is nice.

Personally I went for exodus, and hastened exodus 3. This makes the recast time on exodus somewhere around 50 minutes (cant remember exactly). I now hardly ever have evac/succour or gate memmed, saving another spell slot which is my main priority on aa's...

Cause there's nothing left to spend AA on.

Sometimes you know ahead of time you may need to evac quickly, but want to save exodus for an emergency.

It's good to have quick evac during the 50 minutes or so between exodus uses too.

In any case, there's no question that exodus is more important than quick evac, but both are useful to have.

2.5 sec egress is great for soloing summoning mobs. That's why you get it.

I have hastened exodus and I find it very useful (recast time 50 min). I intend to get quick evac next.

Quick evac does not work with regular ports/gate. I got quick evac 1 and it takes .9 sec off succor/evac without any haste spell items.

I just wanted to add a note to this thread - I wasted 9aa on quick evac 3 last night.

IMO a waste, because the difference between quick evac 2 + spell haste, and quick evac 3 (with which spell haste doesn't stack), is insignificant.

Many better things to spend your AA on, even if you only have Spell Haste V.

It speeds up your naked evacs :) Not that I've had to evac, while naked, once since I bought that AA.

I agree...the third level was a waste of 9aa's. I have no idea why worn and buffed spell hastes don't stack with it the way they stack with the previous levels.

I've done the arena charm quests up to 34 with me boxing my warrior and a necro. I could pull better than the necro with evac :)
