I got level 1 of healing gift long back, before we got TR/KR. After those came out, I never bothered to get them again. Now I am trying to decide between working on that skill again or SCR.

Keep in mind I primarily do raiding. I almost want to do neither and work on ND. Just dunno where to go from here.

The order I did those skills was HG, ND, SCR

If you're raiding, I'm assuming you're using NI a lot. Crits on patch heals are really nice and sometimes a life saver, and more importantly a mana saver. HG doesn't do much in groups but on raids, I find the points well spent.

ND is a must-get-eventually of course but since caster hp/sta isn't = to melee hp/sta I didn't rate the value of this aa as high as aa's that increased our healing or utility.

SCR is nice too but for the points you spend you don't see a lot of pay off most of the time. Sure, it extends everything, but how many times on raids do you see botn fall? It's great for sotw too, so definately get it for that but it's still a lot of points for the limited use of sotw. So, that was last on my list of those 3.

HG then SCR then some ND (still not complete on that).

HG - works great for NI, and those 4k crits are gratifying (I also have AHA2 atm).

SCR (I have SCRM) is great for those MGB SOTW's, as well as saving you some recast mana and hte nuisance of recasting your various buffs.

More hp are always nice but generally I try not to get hit in the first place, and to stay out of AOE dmg when I can.

A wise druid indeed. Oldoaktree echos my train of thought. ND is pretty far down my list simply because I tend to not get hit. And when I do, it's either something that I can shrug off, or it's something that's going to kill me regardless if I had another 3000HPs, much less 300HPs ;)

It depends a lot on what you raid and if you tend to get hit.

I know that I patch heal/debuff a lot and that ND3/LR5 and HP gear have often helped me survived being summoned or getting aggro long enough to get a heal to land.

At some point you can't say that you try not to get hit if you can avoid it, because you just can't avoid it.

I got HA3, AHA3, HG3 first, now I'm working on ND3, then it's on to CA3 and LR5. In the elementals, summoning and AE's are often times unavoidable.

If you like soloing tough @#%$ (summoners, non-snareable/rootable etc.) during your off raid times, I'd suggest going with ND, the extra 250 hps or so definitely helps out. Once you have ND3 each point you spend in innate sta gives you 7 hps so thats not a bad option either. I'm a big fan of HP's so I choose most of my loot based on sta/hp, after mana of course.

I'd rather have a 100 hp 25 mana item than a 25 hp 100 mana item.

I did HA before HG, for me consistent 2k+ NIs are more useful on raids than crits.

With advanced HA 3 and a heal 4 focus item my NIs usually land for an average of 2.2k.
