I was trying to use RC3 on other groups in our raid and it did not seem to be curing them but worked fine for my group. I can cast PotS on other groups so my switch is set correctly.

Can RC be cast only on your own group?

RC can only be cast on your group unfortunately :(

you can only cast buffs on other groups... not instant effects like RC

Spirit of the Wood lands on other groups, but Radiant Cure does not. Somewhere down the line its prolly bugged.

I know you can't cast RC on other groups but I swear at one time you could. What would be the defining factor to look at for it not hitting other groups like sotw does. Is there something on Lucy that would point this out?

RC never landed on other groups, afaik. It doesn't give a buff icon so tgb/mgb don't affect it.

As duranstorm said, since it's not a buff it won't work with "Target Group Buff" which lets you casts group buffs on other groups.

I'm not really sure if its a bug or not when I think about it. I do know its frustrating in a raid with 70 people standing around to hit it and have another group targetted and it doesn't cure anyone. How do other non targettable "group effects" work in that situation, do they land on your group or not land at all?

Ok the fact that this is not a buff makes sense that it would not land on another group.

Another issue is if it is working as intended, should you always see that your member was cured? I have cast on group and don't always get the message that cured but yet when asking if RC worked I get a "yes". Did it really work or did the icon just fade?

If you cure something with counters (curse, disease, or poison) it will display a cured message. If you cure a detrimental effect, it won't display a message.

I THINK that it works on your group no matter what/who you have targeted but I'm not positive.

I know when I use Divine Arbitration (average hit points aa) that I usually use it while targeting the mob and it works on my group. Will test next time using RC targeted on mob and see if anyone is cured.
