These two spells still evade me. Anyone finding these spells? I have never seen them for sale nor seen them drop.

They've been for sale recently on Fennin..not to expensive, think they were around 7-10k. I'm not willing to spend any money though on something I'll rarely use.

Seen Breath being sold for 35k (yeah thats right 35k!) on Povar a few days ago. Prior to that...nada as in like never.

That's just way too much PP. Who has these spells memed? I know of one person in my guild that was able to buy everlasting breath but that's it.

With SoE/FoE, I rarely use Levitation.
Only occasion I can think of is if I want to levitate while in wolf form :)

As for everlasting breath, with everyone having EB items these days, I can't honestly remember the last time I had to use the normal version. I used to keep a stack of fish scale in my backpack, but recently got rid of them.

The only people who ever ask for levitate anymore are people I assume would be too low in level for SoE. Until I ding 62 (whih may be awhile if ever) and mem FoE, they will have to do with plain old batwing style lev. I have 3 backpacks of junk I carry around with me. If I get rid of my fishscales and batwings, then I will have two extra spaces in these packs, and vendor items will mix in with my tailoring and resist gear and clickies. Therefore, I will "never" get rid of my wings/scales. No need to change a good system.

I got Levitation in the Deep at the camp it drops at. I have hardly ever used it, it has the same minimum level like SoE so you might as well cast SoE on the person or use bat wings if the person is too low level because levitation will not take hold on them.

I still carry a couple stacks of batwings and fishscales in the back of one of my packs I hardly ever notice them there. Like I said I have hardly ever had to use either spells.

For the longest time I questioned if Everlasting Breath was even in the game, I never saw it until a few months ago in the Bazaar for a hefty price, I have no idea where it drops. Everlasting Breath just isn't worth the price or rarity in my opinion because you will seldom ever need it unless your guild is raiding The Reef of Corinav. Even then everyone in your guild should have an enduring breath item by then.

Everlasting Breath drops from one of the named vampires in Tenebrous Mountains. Pretty rare drop too.

Levitation is handy for indoor zones where you need to levitate and no necro present.

Enduring breath would be handy for making the run through the grey to Ssra when on CR. I found out the hard way that, though I can make the run with run3 before my breath runs out fully clothed, I can't make it with SoE when naked.

Probably because stamina is too low without equipment.

In my case it was my total health. When buffed with PoTC and Regrowth I can make it with a small margin to spare :)

I have both of these spells, but only use them in the rare occasions already mentioned.

Everlasting Breath was given to me by a necro who was camping the vampires in Tenebrous Mountains. I also got lucky and found Levitation in the bazaar for only 7k.

If I saw them for a 100, I *might* just buy them.

IMHO, those two spells are mearly nice to have.

I haven't used EB or Levitate since luclin was released. SoE is usualy enough for Lev, and EB items are realy easy to come by. Lodi shield, Amulet of the Grey Waste, Fishbone Ear...

everlasting breath is nice to cast for corpse runs thru the grey as someone stated before. It is also nice to cast on others for their corpse run also :)

There's no reason for anyone not to have a copy of Levitation, it's a one group camp. Pre-PoP when it was good exp I did the camp often without either crowd control or a cleric.

As far as enduring breath goes I've never seen it for sale on Bertoxx or seen it drop in TB from the named Vamps. I did however bank my Amulet of the Grey Wastes after getting a Lodi shield for CR gear.

we kill LOTS (and I mean freaking lots, horrible ammount) of vampires. got everlasting breath off the first kill, and have not seen it since. It is sickeningly rare and I got VERY lucky.

For levitation, loralin is dead on, pre 60 its a good exp camp, and not too dificult. post 60, exp is not good, but its even easier.

I can buy multiple EB items for CR for all my alts for 15k

It dropped to 8k and I snagged it *shrug* I have money and nothing to spend it on lol

Ellendilh Silvermist

My current bank savings (80k) will probably help me to buy 2 or 3 good 63+ spells...

If I am lucky enough, that is.

Ligge
12-31-2002, 09:21 AM
You know.. I looked at that issue and I still have plenty of money left in my bank, but the bottomline is other than a few expceptions we dont have any spells that are worth the 20k+ that are being asked for them.

*shrug*

I do just fine with the spells I have and just cant see buying into the Verant "spells are peachy" bull**** and start paying silly amounts of pp for them. I do have Summers Flame (10k) and I do have Shield of Bracken which I looted. I can wait on the rest until they are cheap or I loot them.

Plus I have one focus IV item so I am better off using the pre61 spells anyway and getting the benefits. Moonfire + ID III neck and SCM III AA = Summers Flame without focus already.

Maybe I just missed it... but which camp where do I get Levitation at?

Tatankawd
01-12-2003, 10:03 AM
Levitation is dropped in the Deep, some deranged underbulk or something. Mob itself isn't too bad with a few friends, but you won't be getting to him or killing him solo. Also, he has PHs. Not sure if he drops spell every time. Only killed him once, and he had the spell.

He also drops a very nice shield for SHD and possibly PAL too. AC35 and a few stats.

I've seen Everlasting Breath for sale once in the Bazaar on Veeshan for something like 20k, checked again 5 min later and it was gone. Not that I would have bought it anyway, that's just silly for a spell. 20k will buy a lot of fish scales.

Levitation? Never seen it...

Never seen EB or Levi for sale on Sol Ro, but I *do* see Moonfire routinely on sale.... for 35kpp. UGH.

You druids need to get some money!

Levitation is off the Deranged Underbulk in the Deep. A group can get to him pretty easily from the zone in. The underbulk in the cul de sac is his PHer. He doesn't drop the spell every time.

EB is much more rare, off the one named vamp as mentioned above. I paid 18K for it yesterday, as this was the first time I have ever seen it for sale. It's worth it to avoid having to do the camp. Not that I'll use the spell more than once every 6 months, but a complete spellbook is nice...:)

hehe Ligge you can always spend that plat on me. Have only seen Levitation for sale once... it was for 37k. Sorry no way ever going to spend that much cash on a spell... especially one that is a convience one.

Tatankawd
01-13-2003, 03:07 PM
Geez, 37k?

In that case, I think I'll go camp it.

And then sell it, and continue to do without =)

Everlasting Breath and Levitation are both great for corpse runs. Levitation would also come in handy indoors where SoE wont work. Just the other day I went along to help out a cleric in chardok. We got down a ways and the cleric says 'we need to get lev'd' I was like 'um ok you brought the bat wings right?' :P

Also in consideration is that im a tradeskill freak and literally every slot in my bank is filled and im usually carrying around all kinds of stuff on my person. So each of these spells is one more free inventory slot lol.

Bad part, about Everlasting Breath at least, is that there is a level restriction on it. You cant cast on low level players.

Stambo
01-14-2003, 04:04 PM
personally I think everyone should start a campaign up and have Soe, Levitation and Everlasting Breath lowered to Level 49 so they can be cast on everyone. I mean its not like it can be used for ulttimate power leveling hehe you can cast the regular ones on low level players so why not the componentless ones ?

Probably Wrong but I was told these have been made No Drop with recent patch and havent seen a copy selling on Lanys since then. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I bought one on Monday 1/13. So if new drops are flagged as nodrop, the old ones werent. I dont believe that they would make these nodrop though. Thats kind of silly... oh nm, your probably right.

For those of you who have actually gotten a copy of EB in Tenebrous...

Can it drop off any of the named, or is there one mob I need to pull in particular? So I would love to see the results of which Named has dropped this so far.

Funny, allakhazam doesnt even show that this mob drops this spell. I realize they don't update info unless someone posts info but this expansion has been out for over a year and it isn't listed anywhere on any mobs that I could find.

I went to this camp when Luclin first came out and the group I was with was much lower in levels/power.

My question is:

Is this camp soloable for a 60 +/- druid now? I thought I remembered some immune to run speed changes mobs there.

Anyone have a good strategy?

iluani
01-28-2003, 05:35 AM
Yeah they are immune to run speed changes but you can solo them, i do when i get bored, just use a DS and let them beat themselves to death while you heal yourself though in some nukes when they start to run and it's no problem.

Glynna1

- Spirit of Snow and Spirit of Flame will be dropping more frequently now.-these are bstlord spells btw.

C'mon, give us eb and levitation too.

Levitation would be VERY handy in Plane of Tactics where you have to lev the entire raid due to tons of KB mobs (people fall for 20k) and you cant SOE because its indoors.

After months of off and on camping. After over 158 documented Trilexior kills (not to mention Gorelaz Xenthian and Rendalok or whatever) I finally have Everlasting Breath. I do believe the dorp rate needs to be looked at again.

They made the castle walls block LoS for casting spells, doh. Add on harmony nerfs and it's now harder than it was when I did it, at least to pull them. Still though they're pullable with difficulty. I just ran around and nuked them, with lev on hills let you outpace them quite quickly, and toss wildfire or breath of karana on them, or even just winged death. Have whirling wind memmed for when they try to gate.

Just as another confirmation, Everlasting Breath dropped for me today off Trilexior Aeridia, after what had to be months of killing the vampires off and on.

I mostly soloed them by DSing, dotting the vamps, nuking and stunning when they tried to gate.
