I am lvl 60 and I currently have the Baron title and 1 banked AA. Now my question is what is the best thing to do? I was thinking about getting 61 for Spirit of the Wood then going back to archtypes, or should I get some archtypes first?

And when I do archtypes what is the best way to go? I was thinking MC1 then Casting Fury1-3.

Any advice would be appreciated, I really dont know what path to take.

If your going to do archetypes, do Spell Casting Mastery. Spirit of the Wood is also a good investment but depends more on your style of play and involvement in high end encounters.

First you should look at what you specialized in, if it was evocation then go with SCF, if it was alteration your probably better choosing HA or HG. If you really need that extra tick of mana regen then put points into that. But you would probably get more gain out of SCM than any other aa out there, once maxed think of having an extra 30% mana....

I thought the longest 12 points I ever earned were the ones I put into SCM, but it was more than worth it in the end. I rarely run oom now, even when I am the main healer with my evocation specialization.

It may not seem glamorous, but I don't think you can find a much better use for your points than that.

I wouldn't go with sotw before the necessary arch aa's. SotW is nice but it's not an absolute must have like SCM and such.

Thanks a ton for the info. Put first 2 points into MC1. Figured 2 AA for ft1 isnt bad. I'm not in an uber guild so I wont be seeing much Ft gear. SCM is that good huh? never realized that before. Will take that route probably then.

SCM is the best. I rarely go OOM since I've gained it. A couple months ago they broke SCM. I can honestly say I felt crippled until they fixed it again.

I went with SOTW. It has already saved a couple lives. It is a nice knowing you have a backup to help you out if something goes wrong. And many times just having more efficient mana usage does not help those desperate situations. Do I wish I had SCM? Sure, that is coming next. =)

I can not preach SCM > all enough. It is so powerful that SOE removed the advanced SCM skill they had planned (if that tells you enough).

It's not glamourous and it's not showy, but you can rip my SCM3 from my cold, dead fingers.

/agree Chenier.

It didn't show so much untill SCM3, but its really amazing.

If you ever check the "uber guild" recruitment pages, SCM is the required skill they want/expect for almost all casters. I've loved it since I got it. Mana conservation > Mana regen
