Where does our ornate leather patterns drop? Mostly interested in sleeves and boots for their effects. A complete list of mobs that can drop leather patterns with zones would be awesome.

Any of the named in PoTactics / BoT Can Drop Ornate. Also, the head bosses ( not minis that I know of ) in PoStorms also drop them rarely.

BoT wing mini's drop legs (each wing drops a diff type: leather, plate, chain, silk)

I *think* the BoT tower mini's drop the breastplates (although I've never seen it so that's hearsay)

I'm not sure about which patterns drop off which mini in tactics yet, my experience in there is limited so far.

Saw an Ornate Leather BP drop off Jiva (one of the 5 trial bosses) in Sol tower

Have seen Ornate Plate BP drop off of Rydda Dar (HoH trial boss) couple of times as well

Yes, the BPs can drop off the Tower Minis ( Seen several Plate ones at least )

So we know that legs and BPs can drop off of BoT mini's.

What about boots, arms, bracers, etc.?

Boots and arms rock with MP4 and IH4 on them.

Arms drop in BOT.

Auliffe Chaoswind can drop the leather BP. The north? level 65 guy drops the leather legs. Each wing drops one type of bp/legs. One of the named on the way to Tallon/Vallon in PoT drops leather legs, don't think there is a leather BP dropper in PoT.

In PoT, an enraged warboar and Zelrin Morlok in the pit drop any non-leg/bp peice, diaku armorer in the mess hall drops any non-leg/bp peice, think the supplier does as well.

In HoH the yellow con house used to drop any non-leg/bp peice rarely but not sure if they still do.

In BoT I think most named can drop non-leg/bp but it's so rare it's retarded.

Rareish off Sol Ro named. Think the 5 or 6 big named drop BPs/legs and other stuff drops other peices. We've gotten a leather ornate wrist off one of the Jiva adds and I think Arlix dropped silk BPs which really sucked since they obviously took the spot of real loot and we already have the really really @#%$ silk BPs coming out of our ears from Glykus.

Before the nerf of the spawn rate of enraged/Morlok in the PoT pit you could reasonably expect to get a peice or two there, now you're going to get a few AA before you even see a named and you'll probably get a few hundred AA just farming the pit before you're likely to see a couple peices drop you can use (don't group with other leather wearers or you'll never get any.) If you're looking for healing IV then kill the prototypes in PoI if they're not getting farmed since they're yet another @#%$ up dumbass up-on-server mob

Ornate is just insanely rare, it's really sad honestly.

Yeah its crazy that elemental drops way way more than ornate. Also apparently the ornate leather hat pattern never made it into the drop tables as there is no evidence of one for a leather class on any of the sites that list equipment, I have found no one who has ever seen one, and a post here a while back got zero responses as to any one ever seeing one. I put this info in a bug report to Sony twice and its never gotten addressed.

Thats really kinds sad on Verants part. Although with what they did to spells I'm not surprised.

Got the gloves the other day for 25K. Not sure if that is reasonable or extortion, but they are rather nice.

I don't know, do you really think they are that nice? I've been seeing that pattern in the bazaar and can't make up my mind. Of course, those selling want 60k and they aren't even close to being worth that imo but 25k is probably reasonable. There really isn't much to them though - 40 mana, 45 hps, 5 sta. The effect is ok but not a must have if you already have mana preservation. I'd be interested in hearing what others think of these gloves compared to some of the others that are out there outside of the elemental planes.

Mine replaced Gloves of Earthcrafting, so they were a substantial hp increase. The effect is good, especially since I prefer the Hand of Ro and Summer's Flame combination to E'ci's Resist 3x and Winter's Frost.

FT3 gloves from grieg are better, but I can't think of much else with better stats for druids.

As I don't have mana preservation IV, they are nice for me. They are mildly better than Storm Rider Gloves and a good option for Karana Druids.

In BoT towers I have seen Icestorm drop plate, Chaoswind drop leather, Sandstorm drop silk and Thunderclap chain. All BPs.

That is right. It is a 20% mana reduction for one spell. With evocation spec, was a huge mana saver last night when I played wizard.

I saw a leather boot pattern off that black dog in BoT once. My monk friend won it :)

The mini by middle sand (by the table with the krieg ph's) dropped my boot pattern, the leg pattern dropped off back sand named...

PoS... solo'd probably 400 giants, never seen 1 pattern, lots of widebladed greatswords and those rushing wind bows...

is it true that you have to have 250 skill in taloring or can that part be mq?

you need zero tailoring skill, except to make the cured ethereal energies, which are droppable, and for those they trivial at 212 but skill restricted combine to 220+.
