Is anyone else getting this problem or is it just me.

Ya zone and then have the toon "stuck". You get booted back to server select screen.

Then get the synconisation message.

Once thats gone you go back to character select screen and select the toon.

It changes to the picture

Then bombs right back to server select screen again.

Its happening alot to me :(

btw I have 2 pcs and if i try to log same toon on either its same problem.

Don't even bother with tech support. Losers. Sorry if you're reading this Absor, but your tech support sucks worse than your GM system. I had a friend with this same problem. Tech support put him through hoop after hoop. It was digusting. Ask him countless info then once they figured out he was running a PIX firewall, they said, sorry NO SuPPORT FOR YOU. Before that is was...tons of...nor our problem. Really sad.

You might try deleting your zone files. They possibly could be corrupted. Or worse you got a UDP port on that zone that your ISP is blocking.

Did you all know that the UDP port ranges on zones can change from patch to patch but VI won't tell you what they are so you don't use the info to hack them.

Oh, and by the way - after the next pach - his started working again in that zone. Oh, ya - it was his PIX. Sureeeee it was. Pftt.

Well I managed to get back on. I petitioned a GM and he bascially made me log on my toon and he had to zone her into another zone to remove the problem.

He said that it was something to do with the server thinking the character was in an invalid place in the zone or something (although it was not).

Try and zone back in to that zone and see what happens. )

yea zoning back is fine.

Just seems to be a random data error on the server or something and it bugs my toons sometimes.

I could also log on an alt on the same account too.

I have been having that problem off and on for a few months now. I have two different ISP's and when it happens I go to other ISP and can log in character.
Also I have found that some zones, even though I can get into them, I get random rolling lag spikes and need to switch to other ISP for the zone to be cooperative. The same zones are consistant with the same ISP, untill after a patch, and then some different zones have these problems for me.
As example other night was in PoA. One ISP was down and on other one I couldn't stay connected for more then about 10 minutes at a time, and the monstrous lag would hit. Then I would crash. Was getting very frustrated. When I could get on other ISP all that problem disappeared. Later I went back to first ISP just for curiosity, and sure enough the problem was back. Zoned out to Tranquility and everything was ok again.
This is all on dail-up btw. I live out in the sticks and high speed internet is but a dream for me. :)
