What is it?
It's a ring, 5 ac 5 str 10 sta 10 wis 10 int 25 hp 25 mana 15 dr 15 pr all/all no drop. (Not Lore)
Where is it?
Trakanon's teeth zone, loc roughly +1000 +3000. If you just zoned in from EJ you can just run ahead and to the right and track for them. A set of ruins filled with level 55ish + mobs battlemasters(warriors), revenants(shadowknights) and liches(necros) and at least 2 named level 60 mobs. None of them have ever summoned me.
What should I bring?
Well if you're not 60, you should almost definitely bring a group, if you are 60, you should probably still bring a group. No matter what you bring, bring your harmony, you're gonna need it to get single pulls.
What do I do?
Harmony everything and pull them singly, be careful that you didn't miss any mobs that may be hiding behind walls. At 60 I've not had much difficulty landing root, epic, moonfire, or anything most of the time. Some of them will occasionally have much higher resists though. If you are soloing, dont bother with the named, they have unique drops but the ones I've seen aren't that good, and aren't druid usuable. Start out with battlemasters as they seem to just be warrior type mobs, the revenants will harm touch and the liches are necros and will fear2 you. Magic Resist is not a bad idea here. The rings are a random and *not very rare* drop off the common mobs. The nameds can also drop them but do not appear to do so with any greater frequency than the easier common guys.
Anything else?
-The rings do seem to drop in spurts, like none for a long while and then a bunch in a short period of time, this is very noticeable when you have a full group keeping every mob dead.
-They look like skels but they are not tagged undead and they DO run when low health so snare them all, otherwise they will often path back to the ruins and aggro all their friends just when you were about to kill one.
-Some people think that these rings are a bit too common so get 'em before they're nerfed :(
-The no stats playing card thingymajigger, off the named cultist in the robe, is a quest item. Give it to the Krup Wanderer at the entrance to cave which leads to the swamp of no hope. In return you get + krup -legion of cabilis, exp and some minor coins. There may also be rare rewards but I haven't gotten any yet. The wanderer despawns when you turn it in.
-If you want to see the ring looks like, I'm wearing one and it's in my profile: www.magelo.com/eq_view_pr...num=141289 (http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=141289)
If you find this helpful, you can thank me by posting your queations, comments and experiences with the camp in this thread, so it doesn't die at 11 posts like my poor boots of flowing slime guide :( heheh
