Last night while fighting in chardok, the earring of woven bark dropped, and yours truly happened to get it! Now my little problem is I have 3 pretty good earrings now and I am having trouble deciding which ones to wear.

Earring of Twisted Leaves AC:2 Wis 1 HP/MANA 35 Effect: Scale of Wolf
Earring of Woven Bark AC:2 HP/MANA 35 Effect: Snare
A Hollowed Pixie's Rib AC:1 Wis 4 HP/MANA 20

I am curious to know what you all think of this problem, and maybe you can help me come up with a solution. Thanks in advance Grovers!

at 60 1 wis is 6 mana over 200. i assume if you can fight in chardok your at 200 wis or slightly over.

so your pixie rib is 20 hp, 44 mana (give or take), and 1 ac.

so the tradeoff between pixie rib and snare earring is as such.

for 9 mana you lose 15 hp and 1 ac. also a nice no mana effect.

i'd take the earring of woven bark, but that's just me.
if your not 60 yet you lose even less mana changing over.

I see you're not at 255 WIS yet according to your Magelo profile. Well, seeing that the Rib gives you both a WIS and a Mana bonus, I would suggest the Leaves/Rib combo. A 1 AC bonus is going to do you between Jack and Squat. The Rib has 15 less mana, but adds 4 WIS - which gets you up to 242 if your profile is accurate.

You've got your epic, so I'm assuming you're not using the snare effect on the Woven Bark earring. If you were using the snare from the earring constantly, it might be worth keeping it on - but seeing that it's snare instead of "en"snare, once again the overall usefulness is cut down a bit. However, having a free snare isn't bad as long as it's fast casting - nice trinket to have when you're OOM in a exp group. If it's slow casting, once again, you mine as well use your epic.

So, if you only have those earrings to choose from, I'd say go with the Leaves/Rib selection. The best idea would be to start working toward your PotC earrings though.

15 hp > 9 mana.

but that's just me, i sit at just short of 2200 hp self buffed, i'm a HP junky, with 248 wis.

the choice in the end is up to you, you've been presented with good arguements :D

If you want to get right down to it, at level 55+, both 15hp or 9mana doesn't amount to a hill of beans ;)
