What does this planar ability do exactly? By the description, it sounds like it is a short duration regen and dmg shield.

I am not familiar with the lucy.net database. does it stack with shield of blades and the regen line of spells?

I could see this in a sense being a "group heal" but only for 5 tics, so does that mean you lose XXX hp when it wears off?

I'm not sure how this saved a group :p , just curious on how one could use this to REALLY make a difference.

I may not be understanding the reuse timer or the length of the buff.

It's a healing elixir, similar to Ethereal Elixir, and similarly can be MGBd.

One of the most important aspects of the ability is it's instant casting time. When things are going wrong, adds are coming thick and fast (and hitting for 500), you're trying to root off two or three at once... an instant tap of the SoWood button and your group is healing.

SCRM makes this ability <strong>really</strong> worthwhile, increasing the duration from 5 ticks to 7 ticks.

Think of this as Torpor, without the snare and mana cost, with an AC and DS buff thrown in and castable on the group (or raid with MGB).

Definitely a nice thing to have.

This is my favorite new ability, so far.

AA skills are classed as level 1 spells on lucy so look at the list of class spells and scroll right to the lowest level spells.

Has various uses. on raids when mobs are AEing
In groups when the group has a mass train and you cant heal quick enough.
Topping up health...remember this is a free cast no mana.
soloing when your almost oom and going to die......you can cast this whilst running btw.

I only have reinforcment two and it doesnt increase the duration yet, so level 3 will bring it to 6 ticks, and mastery will bring it to 7 ticks.

I've read some text on how much damage AE mobs in PoP can do. It isn't out of the question for guilds to start asking their druids to get MGB and SoWood.

A SoW chain would go a long ways to keeping raids alive during 1000pt Rallos Zek AE's.

Talking out of my arse here, but Rallos Zek shouldn't have an AE. He's a warrior. He should just hit for like a gazillion and have really high AC or something, I dunno. That would be too much like Luclin content, but if one thing in PoP is gonna be like Luclin, it should be rallos zek.

Just saying though, he probably does have an AE. /shrug

I've used it while running. Not sure if you can trigger it 'consistently'.

Does Zephyr of Brell work with Spirit of Wood? That would be a nice addition to the value of the Coldain Shawl, but I imagine that the duration of "Sow" is too short (5 ticks vs. min of 48seconds for Zephyr).

You can use TGB and MGB with it .

When I saw exactly what this AA did I immediately switched to 100% AA. Now I have a real reason to get MGB too, well, eventually.
