Remember, when you combine an augmentation and an item, the result will have all of the restrictions of both items.

I'd like to stress this specifically when it comes to worn location.

<strong>If you have an augmentation that can only be used in the wrist location and you apply it to an item that can be worn on the wrist and neck, the resultant item will ONLY be wearable on the wrist.</strong>

Please keep that in mind when augmenting your items.

I hope that they check that the resulting items are wearable somewhere.

ie, augment a bracelet (wrist) with a adventurers stone (charm), and get an item that fits in .. no slots.

Does the engine prevent you from even applying the augment? (the 30 pp question).

It does. It would give a message like "<em>The result of this combine would produce an item unusable by anyone.</em>"

Edit: Oops, fixed EZcodes.

That's not what he's talking about. the Adventurer's Stone ONLY goes in a Charm.

There are some items that can be put in multiple slots (Like the Grandmaster's Baking Spoon or whatever).

So for instance, if an item can be work in Head Back and Wrist, and you have an augment that can only be slotted into a Head and Back item, if you augment the aformentioned item it will no longer be able to be put in the Wrist slot.

I had an augment that was usable in just about every slot (it also said hands). When I tried to use it on hands slot it said it would be made unusable.
