I know this is old but no one seem to taken any notice of it. SOE removed Ring if Fire out of Acrylia Caverns. Ring of fire has the most unique and great loot ever outside VT/SSRA. Though, it happened like April , 2003 =p

Ring of Fire was horridly boring, I can't put into words how much I hate that event. Good riddens.

I had fun every time I did this, from the first time when none of us knew what we were doing to the last time (only did it probably 10 times). They removed it in an attempt to change a totally underused zone into a completely unused zone, as they apparently like to do sometimes.

I don't but I think this might help if anyone is looking for. The ring of fire was removed from Acrylia in the zone update of April 2003. at http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1569
I think the Patch only say that they revamped Acrylia. Caverns =p

Nothing made me want to carve my heart out with a rusty spoon like ring of fire, after they made the nameds random it all turned very very very gay.

Wasn't that the event where you had to spawn some badass Vah`Shir dude that was way out of his league for Luclin? Then there was some quest tied to him where you got a ring with right-click SoW or something like that?

Just say no to Ring of Fire!!
