My friend has gotten all of the Elysian armor except chest and arms...what can she feasibly go after at 52nd that is decent equipment for those slots and has a chain graphic that matches the Elysian? She will not set foot in Umbral anymore ;) (took too long getting the Elysian she has I guess).

I'm trying to find anything for her that I can get at 65th with 1-2 people max, or something she can buy in the bazaar (remember, she's 52nd, so items over a few thousand plat are not going to work here).

only thing i can recall, that is Chain Graphic at that lvl besides Elysian.

Tunarean druids can wear cultural chain armor smithed by high elves... the stats aren't very impressive, but it's something at least. I'm not sure if halflings have an equivalent option.

I guess I should add that the chain look needs to be untinted with any colors :).

Ah. Then ignore the cultural stuff - it's a nasty blue-green shade.

If she's a good friend and you've got the time - quad the elysians for her. Wouldn't take very long, then you could link that nice shiny BP for her to come collect and complete the set.

I had a 65 druid help me out and quadded a few. Saved me hours of camping :)

It's a matter of diminishing returns; everything that drops now rots (hello, elysian boots #83 ;)...) but the arms and BP just won't drop. I wouldn't stand for it either, frankly.

As for quadding them, well, I am trying to wean her away from soloing activities in general, so I'd be a hypocrite if I did that :).

Whenever people say that they aren't getting what they want... such as elysian duplicates.... you don't realize how much more rewarding each duplicate makes the final loot :) Same way with getting your epic.. if you don't have trouble getting your epic.. its not rewarding in the least... its just something you did.

I got a full set of elysian camping by myself or with my brother(wizard)....xp was decent too. Actually the hat dropped a few times but I refused to loot it. That graphic is just plain hideous. It was actually a lot of fun.

Not too many BPs a druid can wear that doesn't require a raid.

Its an old old agrument.....But the Vermi BP from fear is green chain. With Dye it could be chain colored chain.

Doesn't the fungi tunic from Seb still have the nice chain graphic?

Ooh, good idea. For a while I had wanted a fungi tunic for situational use even when I had my elysian tunic.

Gladiator chain arms from kael...back in velious days they were nice stats. Should be doable with very few people and not a long camp at all, can maybe kill vindi while your there to get her the head for the gloves :-).

Keep in mind back then I had old models up until PoP and it was old models that displayed the chain graphic, not sure if the new ones did with gladiator, but I dont see why it would change.

Tunarean cultural is made by Wood elves not Hgh elves. And Halflings do have a cultural look for Karana worshipers.

Old high elf cultural chain armor (not the newer blue diamond version) was wearable by druids and even int casters. That was one of its main selling points, that a caster could wear chain armor.
