Got this in my EZ Inbox about a post in the "new" druid thread. Name's left out to protect the something-or-other. Thought it was funny, not only because I have no recollection what his post was, but also because the stuff I delete has either A: been mentioned umpteen million times, or B: didn't follow the rules and was addressing Absor's "why aren't you wanted" rather than his "what can we do" part.

Guess he missed out on that <font color="red">HEAVILY MODERATED</font> bit. I know it's hard to see.

Congrats for heightening the misconceptions of druids in that they are one of the most self-centered and greedy classes within the EQ community. I guess that the only way you make sure that VI/SoE hears your biased views is to delete any opposing views that does not fit well of your self defined image of a druid.

The opinionated post I've made was well within your stated rules and was not a flame in any way. In fact, it even had a suggestion or two on improving the druid class.

Anyway, I, and a great many others in my server, has lost a great deal of respect for your website for your biased censorship. Do not bother to respond to this message; I will be ignoring any correspondence from your site.

You would think that the hamsters and chipmunks powering them things would take up all the room in there. Imagine the smell,,, pissed on cedar chips AND 15000 EQ players.

I am guessing that is "F_01" from a similar comment he made in a thread. He is far from being the one to preach about "self-centered" and "greedy". It is true he offered recommendations. All of them steering druids towards the "slower" role in groups and stamped with the "it won't step on the clerics' toes" seal. It is almost funny that we are greedy and self-centered for saying that we want the monopolies broken if we are expected to group.

For those who like the word "irony", it is ironic that so many of the classes who couldn't solo effectively cheered on our soloing nerfs are now calling us greedy and self-centered for pointing out the reasons and solutions to our lack of desirability in groups.

I lose all respect for people who make comments like that to support thier opinion.

Lesson, opinions are not validated more just because others agree with you, so it does nothing to strengthen your point. Using logic, and common sense, and facts help support opinions.

a great many of us mourned those nerfs. Cause many of us play a second class and usually pick one with opposite abilities of our cleric. In other words when I dont feel like grouping, I want to play a class that doesnt need to rely on groups. One guess which class I chose? the nerfs to druid soloing is probably the worst nerf any of my characters have suffered. I hated it a lot worse than my hammer nerf or MOK nerf or breastplate nerf. Cause all those were just special goodies of my cleric. this stupid soloing nerf is hitting my druid at the center of what I consider her to be.

Except for the killing of minibosses which druids had nothing to do with, I could give a rats hiney how well soloers can solo. I did not try to beat the soloers or nerf them. I became one. So my deepest condolences on the idiotic nerfs to soloing for you and for me. Would pay extra just to see that reversed.

He has a point Stormhaven, since you saw fit to censor and then ban me for saying things that are no worse than any of the comments on display right now over in the enchanter cancellation thread. The truth hurts I guess.
