I couldn't believe Iran rejected help from Israel because they don't recognize them as a government. 'scuse me, but if your country needs help recovering from a disaster, is it necessary to audition those that are willing to come help you?

The Russians refused help from the Swedes (?, can't remember which country it was, but they are considered the best in the world at deep sea rescue due to their oil rigs in the north sea) when that submarine went down a few years ago.

Like you, I can't believe anyone would refuse humanitarian aide due to political ideaologies, but I suppose that's why I'm not a politician. *boggle*

That's really pathetic. It's a rare and wonderful thing for a peaceful hand to be offered in this world. To refuse it? No wonder there are so many wars.

S'ok, Israel didn't expect their offer to be accepted anyways.

You know full well if any Jews had gone over to aid, they'd just have been blown up by some suicide bomber anyways.
