Hi all, the server status page says all servers are up, but I've been unable to log in now for about half an hour. The box says unable to connect at this time or occasionally that the log in server is jammed.

Just checking to see if perhaps something in the download is causing me specific problems or if others are experiencing the same thing.

Edit: Oops sorry, looked at the server status page before checking the scheduled downtime.

well, the patch did say 9 hours from 3am PST...and it's only 10am-ish PST...so my guess is ain't nothing doing til (or I wouldn't really try until) 12pm PST...

EQ site says eta 9 hours downtime for patching. Servers went down at 3am pst so earliest expectation of servers being up would be 11 am pst (about an hour from now). Realistically expected servers being up would be 1ish pst and expect them to be up and down most of the day.

Servers show they are up but if the login server isn't up you won't be able to get in.

That screen is there solely to inform us when servers are available for play. Having them say UP when we can play and DOWN when we can't is obviously far too complex for Sony to manage though.

That page has always been bugged ever since they removed the number count for each server. Just have to wait for the message board people to make "servers are up" posts or check the currect status page. (which they sometimes fail to update until a few hours after servers are back up, but is normally current)

BTW servers are up :)
