Just bought the first level and did a quick run with it. Critical rate was 4.2% (12/285). My average non-critical with Vengeance of Tunare was 330.2, and average critical was 673.5 -- meaning damage-enhancing effects are factored in before the critical (yes, I realize this will be nerfed soon).

So far this is looking like a worthwhile buy for very few points. Has anyone run tests on the higher levels?

As long as they are listed as Druid spells it should.

Well I was specifically wondering about the ones that aren't druid spells.
The focus effects have a maximum level on them, which is why the non-spell ones don't match up. AA abilities on the other hand could go either way. I'm fairly certain SCR/SCRM work on clicky effects that aren't spells...

Yes.
As long as they are listed as Druid spells it should.
No, that's only a concern with focus effects. AAs will work with spells you can't cast.

Critical affliction works on Orb of Clinging Death for sure :)

Critical Affliction 1:
54/1668 = 3.2%

Necros seems to think CA3 is 9% so 3% per rank looks like a educated guess.

One thing I would have liked to see with this skill is a critical message when the dot crits. It just shows the normal your dot spell does whatever damage on each tick.

I still use my velious drone of doom bracer from time to time and I was joking with a friend that it seems to crit more than the big DoTs do :)

ran a quick set of numbers on CA2.

158 ticks of normal damage (65pts).
11 ticks of crit damage (130pts).

all done in a couple mins prior to logging in lavastorm using drifting death.

thats about 5.9%

I'll get more test numbers here soon. 169 ticks isnt enough.

I get crit ticks from the dot on my epic the most lol. weird
