Been a longtime since I've even seen this dragon. Lastime I saw him was way before POP. If I recall, it had a stun that was really long range. I don't think isn't possible for us to solo. But hell, would love to see you try. :)

Well for starters, its obvious you cant land HOR ROI , Eci's is kinda .. hard, i've not had good success with it landed in melee range , Other than that i have about 140DS with Shaman potion's, I pull him to BW zone line (nothing roams there) , Wait for em to catch up, Start Tanking and casting click dot straight off, And start with winter frost, Pretty much a nuke heal fest after that, He'll run at 13-14%, Be sure to get a go head run before him so nuke land on time.

I fight him where he spawns, no roaming mobs have ever come near as yet. Eci lands 95% of the time 1st try, for me anyway. Get the max ds your able to, use shaman potions.
300 in RF and RM will be enough to resist all ae's usually.
If your losing hit exodus and try again, they regen pretty slow too.

makes sense... dragon pops outta thin air in the same spot every couple of days... even if i were a wyvern i wouldn't go near there...

/cackle

i shall be on the lookout for his uglyness!

Better pull him a little away from his spawn ! Talendor sees invis and regens hp really slowly. Pain in the ass CR.

Talendor is very varied ... fire based so you can't hand of ro / illum to drop his melee dps.

Normal Talendor is pretty simple to porcupine. Talendor with haste item is a bit trickier... Talendor with haste item and 2 weapons is nasty - though still doable with the right gear and spirit of wood3 helps enormously on this version ... cos he hits a lot :)

Talendor I find is actually one of the easier dragons to solo. Provided you have a good chunk of aa's/gear he's pretty trivial. He won't summon till he goes below 97% so you can land e'ci pretty easily and just run away to heal up or what ever. Best to fight him where he spawns as there is no roamers. From there.. make sure you have max ds via your own buffs etc. After that it's just a matter of tanking him while nuking him down. Normally I'll get off 3 nukes before I need to heal myself once.

On a side note.. having all your aa's for crit nukes done really makes it easier. Killed him last week and took all of 8 nukes. First nuke was a reg nuke.. then 7 crits in a row hehe. Overall though he's easier then the rest.

anouther small tip:

When i fight em (i dont use a horse), i tend to lock myself between 2 rocks near BW zone line, so i dont bounce all over the place when getting hit, it helps with interuptions.

Talendor down today btw: 2 CoFs + scale + DI scroll & sh*t spells i left behind. ;) best kill ever.
