BTW - any suggested server to try this on? Maybe it doesn't use a server system.

It does use a server system. Kerech and I play on Shadow. I like the server...seems like a lot of former EQ people.

Strangest thing I have found about playing is that I am encountering a LOT of people who are coming from UO, AC, and DAOC. EQ isn't really the predominant game experience amongst the player base from what I have seen.

Shadow is sporadic about doing events. There are a few people (Kerech among them) who carry more than their share of the burden to get stuff done. I think Expanse is more spontaneous about getting stuff done these days.

If you do play on Shadow and need any help at any point don't hesitate to shoot me a tell. Some players find the transition a bit confusing at first, particularly working out how to actually DO tradeskills.
