Ikkinz -- Guilds no longer have to flag every member of their guild in order to complete Ikkinz. Only one person needs to complete all events/raids to start Ikkinz 7. At that point, all players who complete Ikkinz 7 will get full credit for the zone.
- Based on customer feedback

So guess those who spent all the time since GOD released to get ikkinz trials done, kod`taz progression etc. finished wasted they time eh? If they said this earlier it wouldn't be really a problem but now when most of the guilds have kod`taz finished or almost finished. This is a totally waste of our time, hi we don't just spents months doing this quest and only learn that only 1 person need this. We getting anything back or just the simple SOE answer of Screw You?

I am for one really upset with the way SOE deal with this. You could make it a bit easier and such, but when you completely removed the need for it, those who finished have wasted their time I guess. Based on Customer feedback or whatever, those are when GOD first released and peole got really annoyed with the way trials were etc.. SOE did nothing at all. So we did what we suppose to do. Spent hrs and hrs for months trying to finish it, We could have have spent that time elsewhere doing other progession quest, xping, doing LDONs,slacking or whatever. Finally after months of hardwork, most people have finished their progession quest or close to it and BAM ! They tell you there is no need for it, only 1 person per guild. I don't think SOE its even looking at player database, where they ahve progessed etc.. Cause this update its really really stupid imo.

Either change it back to the way it was or least give those who have completed a reward or something.

Just deleting the need for the flag is fast and easy for SOE and gains them a lot of positive feedback. What it DOESN'T do is fix the problems with class balance in GoD. It's another bandaid on a severed artery.

The latter, I would hope. Seems like they did something similar when they opened up so many of the PoP zones.

I agree the people who completed it should get a reward or some aa or something.

I agree the people who completed it should get a reward or some aa or something.Maybe a better idea is to reward players who did the LFG thing for the trials and couldn't even get a start on one.

But my hat IS off to several of my guild's clerics who made time to help others through the trials. Doing the same trials over and over and over ad nauseum... Thank the gods that some clerics haven't burnt out completely yet.

The way I interpret it (and I could be wrong) is that it only allows everyone to bypass the 3 "raids", plus the various handins/tradeskill crap/groundspawn rediculous nonsense. Since only one person needed the 3 ikki trials before, that's not really all that different, as I assume that you still need to get yourself Kodtaz flagged in the same old way.

Dont care either way, the trials are stupid, they dont show skill. They just show how stubborn a person is and how much time they are willing to waste sticking out the LFG time waiting for a trinity group to have a free spot, or being a trinity class and grinding the same trial over and over.

I say this as someone who's done them, a lot, I was flagged for KodTaz long before most anyone else, and I dont care if they dumb the trials down... they suck and they suck hard. The dev who created them should be forced to actually PLAY in them for the hours and hours it takes to get a guild through them.

Of course, I knew GoD was a POS when it was in beta, so I never wasted my time. :D

I spent most of my trial days LFG. Its pretty hard for a druid to find an ikkinz group within my guild. Since alot of people per perfer clerics. Was lucky enough to finally finish all 3 trials like with in 2 months. Logging most of the days off kinda pissed or thinking I am never gonna get a trial group etc.. It was torture really emotionally. Finally got out that pool of poison and they say my time is wasted. That really really really really piss me off ! Though guess I can't complain more than the wars/clerics in my guild who did like ikkinz trials almost everyday to flag other people.
