Just had to publicly toast the show Angel for all the good times.

In a sea of drivel that the network television stations try to pass for entertainment the show Angel was a bright shining light of innovative writing and excellent acting.

It was a show that would have you laughing one minute and crying the next. Where the heroes were characters that you could relate with, and yet still had that spark of greatness that made them shine. Where the characters never fell into a stereotype, and the line between Good and Evil was a wonderful shade of gray. Where everyone has a dark side, and a skeleton or so in the closet. Where some demons were good, some were bad, and some were just like us. Where a song can tell your future, and a sea breeze can cure all pain. With the woman who were so beautiful that they lit up my living room as well as the screen, and who’s smiles made even me the viewer feel that everything will be OK.

Thank you to all who created it: Joss Whedon, David Greenwalt, David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, Amy Acker, Andy Hallett, James Marsters, and all the other dozens of contributors and actors to that fine series.

Farewell Angel, you were the best.

Ah! I think I only watched one episode. I was a real Buffy addict though. Glad to hear Angel was good, sort of sad I missed it. I always thought they should've made a show from Spike's character.

Was a good show. They turned it around especially this final season when they added Spike (Marsters.) The final episode was cool, and the ending, which at first kinda underwhelmed me, now seems to fit on further reflection.

I'm a huge fan of anything Whedon(Buffy, Angel, Firefly), so am disappointed that they are all over now.

When Angel quoted the Everquest Online Adventures commercial in the final seconds of the series.. I just wanted to hit something....but as many of the fan sites say.. there will likely be TV movies.. possible silver screen production and the like... but it is DEFINITELY left open to the imagination.... and also continuing with the theme that redemption is never achieved only strived toward.
