Well guys i'm a lore freak and the new story of the Brotherhood has sparked my interest yet again.
We all know the story so far in GoD:
The taelosians were water elves before they hit the land we know as Taelosians. The taelosians then built a civilization in this lands, but were divided by beliefs. The Trusik, taelosians who are deeply religious towards their god of destruction Trushar, started making rituals of sacrifice to their god and killing innocent Taelosians. The other group, the Nihil, agreed that this had to be stopped, so they were banished from Nihilia to the mountains (Kodtaz and beyond i assume). The Trusik were deeply angered and they decided to perform a summoning to call their god to destroy the Nihil, but instead opened a rift to the realms of Discord where the Muramites or Legion of Mata Muram came to Norrath.
Now after this im not sure what happened. But our Druid brothers and sisters that are Qvic+ flagged might now more about the story.
Here are some facts about the Story:
- Calliav the mage got enlightened by Zebuxoruk and searched for the Grizmok stone which took them to Taelosia.
- Mata Muram is rumored to be a Dragon that lives in the realms of Discord. (Kerafyrm anyone?)
- Mayong Mistmoore remains missing and if you follow the LDoN story you can see that some say he's in the realm of Discord.
- Calliav has been acting strangely when Morden Rasp gave him the Amulet he stole from a temple somewhere. (not sure about which temple or what zone).
- Zebuxoruk after Time is completed warns us something bad is coming. Could he mean the muramites?
Some questions that could arise:
1- How will this all translate to EQ2?
2- Where is Firiona Vie and her adventurers? :p
3- Do you think stuff left unfinished, for example LIS's Sword, Kerafyrm, the Trakanon's Prophecies, will be answered?
4- What will be Zebuxoruk's fate?
Hell i have a lot more questions in my mind but cant remember them atm. I'm deeply interested in the story in higher GoD Tiers (im only at 3rd Ikkinz Raid, sorry). Anyways, this is a lore discussion thread for those deeply interested in Lore. No cookies for flamers :p
